She became a familiar face on one of the most beloved sitcoms of the 1970s and 80s.

The actress spent years playing the love interest of one of the show's central characters before their on-screen romance eventually ended in marriage.

Her television career also saw her pop up on some of the era's biggest shows, while she later appeared on the big screen before eventually swapping Hollywood sets for the classroom.

These days, the veteran star helps train a new generation of actors as an acting teacher, more than four decades after her best-known television role came to an end.

Now, 72, she was recently spotted looking fit and healthy as she stepped out in her neighborhood in Burbank.

Can you guess who it is?

The former 70s sitcom star was seen looking fit and healthy as she stepped out in her neighborhood in Burbank, California last week

The actress, who was spotted on a walk earlier in the day, later changed into a casual ensemble before heading to work at a film school where she now works

It's Lynda Goodfriend!

Goodfriend is best remembered as Lori Beth Cunningham, the girlfriend and eventual wife of Ron Howard's character Richie Cunningham on the classic sitcom Happy Days.

The actress-turned-teacher was photographed getting in some exercise around her local neighborhood on the morning of September 16 before heading off to work.

She kept things casual for her workout before later changing into a crisp white shirt and trendy blue jeans with distinctive patches, a black leather belt, and sneakers.

She accessorized with a string of pearls, black crossbody bag, and a blue backpack slung over one shoulder.

Goodfriend was seen making her way to the New York Film Academy's Burbank campus, where she now teaches acting.

The sighting offers a rare glimpse of the actress who became a fixture on Happy Days after joining the hit sitcom in 1977.

Her character remained part of the series through its final season in 1984.

Before finding sitcom fame, Goodfriend grew up in Coral Gables, Florida and then attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, where she majored in drama.

Her first television break came in 1977 when she landed the role as Ethel 'Sunshine' Akalino on sitcom Blansky's Beauties, which was canceled after one season.

Goodfriend, however, would go on to join Happy Days the same year alongside co-star Scott Baio.

She also starred as Angie Vitola on NBC sitcom Who's Watching the Kids? and went on to make guest appearances on The Love Boat and Fantasy Island.

She later had small appearances on the silver screen, in films such as Pretty Woman and Beaches.

According to a 2017 interview with the NYFA, Goodfriend's transition from actress to talent manager later in her career inspired her to teach.

She eventually founded the Actors Workout School, which operated in Los Angeles and Actors Workout Theater in North Hollywood in the mid 2000s.

She later joined the NYFA in 2006 and became its LA Chair of Acting for Film in 2011.

Despite spending less time in front of the camera these days, Goodfriend admitted she considers the role that made her famous as her favorite project to date.

'Without a doubt, the eight years I spent on the hit TV show, Happy Days, playing Lori Beth, Ron Howard's girlfriend, were the most fun of all the work I've done,' she said in an interview with NYFA in 2023.

'I also toured with a Broadway production called Good News with Alice Faye. We did nine months on the road before we opened on Broadway, performing and getting reviews in all the major cities in the US. Being on tour - That was a blast!'
