90 Day Fiance star Eric Rosenbrook and wife Leida Margaretha dispute autopsy results in baby's tragic death

90 Day Fiance personality Eric Rosenbrook is disputing the results of the autopsy performed on his late infant daughter Alisa Eleanor in the wake of her death last summer in Wisconsin.

Rosenbrook and his spouse Leida Margaretha have retained the services of a private medical examiner to examine the findings from the autopsy performed by the Adams County Health and Human Services Department, Margaretha’s lawyer Taylor Hart told the Daily Mail Tuesday.

The private medical examiner has challenged the agency's conclusion that the infant's cause of death was 'non-accidental,' Hart said.

Hart said Margaretha 'continues to deny any and all allegations of wrongdoing, and would have never harmed her child.'

Hart said the medical examiner the family hired believes the initial autopsy was 'poorly performed.'

Rosenbrook told TMZ Tuesday that findings from the private examiner indicate Adams County officials overlooked essential steps and key details in their probe.

Major routine steps were not finished, Rosenbrook told the outlet, noting that a fracture on the five-week-old had not been clearly addressed in the findings of the initial autopsy, insiders told the outlet.

Rosenbrook told TMZ that the examiner the family had hired cited an injury that might have happened during the childbirth process, as Margaretha underwent a cesarean section procedure.

A fractured rib on the child cited in the report was possibly suffered while CPR was being performed on the baby, Rosenbrook told the outlet, citing his private examiner's findings.

Rosenbrook told TMZ that he and his spouse have directly challenged the findings of Adams County Health and Human Services Department.

Rosenbrook told TMZ HHS officials were non-responsive to their questions regarding the issues cited. 

The Adams County Sheriff's Office 'has not found Leida at fault,' Rosenbrook told TMZ.

Rosenbrook told TMZ of Child Protective Services involved in the issue, 'As far as CPS goes, they're a hammer and every parent is a nail,' calling the agency 'the definition of fascism.' 

No criminal charges have been filed in connection with the issue, and a probe in the case continues, according to the report from the Adams County Health and Human Services Department. 

Hart told the Daily Mail Tuesday that 'over the past two years, Leida and her husband tried desperately for a child.

'They tried, and hoped, and prayed, but they unfortunately suffered many setbacks including multiple miscarriages.'

Hart noted that 'the cause and manner of Alisa’s death' remain 'unknown;' and that Leida remains 'extremely distraught and is still seeking answers for herself.

'She loved her baby beyond measure and is struggling with the emotions of losing her child.'

Hart said that 'the loss of Alisa is a tragedy' and that 'Eric and Leida are both still actively grieving and they ask for your privacy, sympathy, and understanding during this difficult time.'

Said Hart: 'There are many allegations of wrongdoing being levied against Leida,' adding that it comes as 'no surprise as she has endured years of unfounded negative publicity and social media attention since her appearance on 90 Day Fiancé in 2018.'

In related news, court docs reviewed by TMZ indicate that Rosenbrook will not serve any time in custody in connection with a charge of operating under the influence linked to a July 5, 2025 incident.

Rosenbrook entered a no contest plea to the charge, the outlet reported, citing legal documents.

Two linked charges against Rosenbrook were dismissed, the outlet reported, noting that he faced fines of $968; a six-month suspension of his driver's license; and mandatory attendance in an alcohol assessment program.
