One of the best things about a great comedy movie is how it can deliver the kind of memorable scene that's easily rewatchable and will make you laugh hard every single time you view it. That can be the case even if you don't love a film. For example, everyone remembers the rhino birthing scene in Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls, the Vanessa Carlton singalong scene in White Chicks, and Tom Cruise going ballistic in an unrecognizable role in Tropic Thunder. As great as it is to find a film like that, there's something even rarer in comedy.

It isn't every day that you run into a comedy movie that manages to have more than one scene like the ones we've mentioned. Having a single iconic sequence is difficult to achieve, so it's even more impressive when a film lands two or more. Those are the comedies that truly withstand the test of time and become the projects that people watch over and over, especially for those aforementioned scenes.

Some great comedy films have several great scenes, though one can be more aimed at emotional storytelling or something along those lines. However, for this list, only movies that have multiple hilarious comedic scenes are considered.

There's Something About Mary (1998)

There's Something About Mary is one of the first comedy movies where two scenes always come to mind. The first is the one that sets everything in motion, as Ben Stiller's Ted tries to take Cameron Diaz's Mary to prom, only to painfully get his genitals stuck in his zipper beforehand.

Everything from his reaction to the one shot of the zipper is hilarious. The other memorable scene is also a gross-out moment, where Ted masturbates before a date with Mary and his semen ends up in her hair, which then sticks straight up. It ended up as one of comedy's most iconic visuals.

Scary Movie (2000)

While history is littered with parody films, not many did it better than the original Scary Movie. There are so many great moments from the project, though a few stand above the rest. First, there's the famous "WAZZUP" scene, where various characters answer the phone in a parody of Budweiser commercials. The changing face of the Ghostface mask added to its absurdity.

Scary Movie has two other scenes that shine, with one being the climactic battle between Cindy and the killer. It parodies so many tropes of the genre, while also throwing in funny moments like a spoof of The Matrix and Cindy throwing her grandmother down the stairs. The other is the theater scene with Brenda talking loudly, as it's a clear showcase of Regina Hall's brilliant comedic chops.

Friday (1995)

Friday is one of those movies that works because of how simple it is and the same could be said for its iconic scenes. The first sees Chris Tucker's Smokey desperate to use the bathroom and having to poop in the bushes, only for Ezal, a neighborhood drug user, to spot him and announce it to everyone. His delivery of the line makes it so iconic.

The other great comedic scene comes when neighborhood bully Deebo shows up and steals a chain from Red. After Deebo leaves, Red whines that his grandmother gave him that chain and he hilariously runs to his car in a manner that makes everyone laugh. They are among the most memorable scenes from any '90s comedy.

Anchorman: The Legend Of Ron Burgundy (2004)

Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy is one of the most quotable comedies in history. One of the lines that people quote most often is actually a song, as Ron and his friends spring into an impromptu rendition of "Afternoon Delight" as Ron tries to explain what love is like. Their earnest singing and the way they immediately spring back to their work makes it so funny.

Of course, nothing is funnier in Anchorman than the fight. Ron and his news crew encounter their rivals in an alley and start a fight. On its own, that's not funny but it's how it keeps escalating that makes it hilarious. Other news crews pop up to join in, including Ben Stiller as a Spanish anchor, and the violence levels up to include a trident, a grenade, and more.

The Nice Guys (2016)

More people need to talk about The Nice Guys when they discuss the greatest modern comedies. Shane Black's film just knows how to deliver the funniest moments. One early standout is when Russell Crowe's Jackson breaks the arm of Ryan Gosling's Holland. Gosling lets out a ridiculously funny high-pitched scream that has kind of become a signature of his.

The Nice Guys has plenty of other great moments, starting with a scene where Holland's daughter throws coffee at an enemy. She thinks it's hot but it's actually cold, so it fails. Holland's earnest appreciation of her efforts are funny, but even better is when the threat trips and knocks herself out, proving at least something works. Holland's struggles to keep the bathroom stall door open as he argues with Jackson is another light.

Coming To America (1988)

Nearly every scene in Coming to America is considered a classic for a reason. In what's possibly the most remembered sequence of the film, Eddie Murphy and Arsenio Hall's characters visit a barber shop filled with characters also played by the two actors. The dialogue and wacky conversations they have are fantastic.

Another great bit sees the two main characters at a club in New York as they meet various women to potentially become Prince Akeem's future queen. Each person they meet is funny and as good as the pair of rapping twins is, the real kicker is Arsenio Hall in a wig flirting with the guys.

Superbad (2007)

Along the same lines as Anchorman, Superbad is a quotable comedy from the 2000s that also features a hilarious musical number. In this case, you can't help but laugh as Michael Cera's Evan is forced to sing for a group of tough guys. His rendition of "These Eyes" is funny on its own but gets funnier with the reactions of the guys around him genuinely enjoying it.

There are so many other scenes that could be among the best ever, yet the one that truly stands out is when Fogell shows up with his fake ID. Seth and Evan read that he named himself McLovin, sparking the film's most timeless element. From comparing him to Seal only having one name to dissing him being from Hawaii, it's a side-splitting sequence.

Mean Girls (2004)

It's hard to think of a more quotable film than Mean Girls. Many of those quotes come from Damian Leigh, whose delivery of "She doesn't even go here," and, "Four for you, Glen Coco, you go Glen Coco," have turned simple lines into some of the funniest moments to rewatch.

Mean Girls is also home to the truly hilarious "Jingle Bell Rock" scene, which features a boombox getting kicked into someone's face and Amy Poehler awkwardly dancing in the crowd as the "cool mom." That's not even to mention the fight scenes meant to look like the jungle, whether fetch will happen or not, and anything Karen says.

Bridesmaids (2011)

While all of Bridesmaids is funny, there are two scenes that nobody will ever forget. First, the group of women visits a bridal dress shop just after eating too much at a place that gives them food poisoning. The end result is nearly everyone barfing or pooping all over the place in a wildly absurd scene.

The other takes place when they head to Las Vegas for the bachelorette party. Annie hallucinates after taking a sedative, leading to her getting kicked off the plane and having a funny conversation with a flight attendant. At the same time, Rita and Becca get drunk and share their admiration for each other, while show stealer Megan makes an air marshal uncomfortable with her flirting. It's one of the funniest scenes ever put to the screen.
