Zootopia 2” is coming to the small screen near you: The buddy-cop animated film will be available for your streaming pleasure as the film hits Disney+ on March 11.

A sequel to the original 2016 film, “Zootopia 2” brought fans back into the beloved mammal metropolis guided by rabbit police officer Judy Hopps (Ginnifer Goodwin) and con artist fox Nick Wilde (Jason Bateman). Together, the two must put their partnership to the test as they attempt to uncover their city’s secret reptile population following the arrival of the mysterious pit viper Gary De’Snake (Key Huy Quan).

While Goodwin and Bateman reprised their original roles, the second installment welcomed a new cast of animated characters to the film, including the podcasting beaver Nibbles Maplestick (Fortune Feimster), Pawbert Lynxley (Andy Samberg), Milton Lynxley (David Strathairn), Cattrick Lynxley (Macaulay Culkin), Kitt Lynxley (Brenda Song), Dr. Fuzzby (Quinta Brunson), Robert Furwin (Robert Irwin) and Brian Winddancer (Patrick Warburton) amongst others.

Directed by Jared Bush and Byron Howard, the animated sequel made box office history on its opening weekend, clinching the title of the fourth-biggest global opening of all time, the largest global launch of all time for an animated film and the highest global opening for an animated sequel ever, in addition to other records.

Disney‘s animated sequel, which was a theatrical juggernaut upon its Thanksgiving release last year, became the highest-grossing movie in history with $1.46 billion at the global box office. It notched just about every other one of last year’s box office records, also becoming the highest-grossing domestic release, the biggest earner internationally ($1.425 billion) and worldwide ($1.85 billion) in 2025.

Stream “Zootopia 2” on Disney+ starting March 11.
