EXCLUSIVE: Zoë Kravitz (Caught Stealing) is set for the lead role in Apple‘s new film from My Old Ass helmer Megan Park.

Currently untitled, the mystery project’s logline is being kept under wraps. Park will direct from her own script and exec produce, with Apple Studios and LuckyChap to produce in association with FilmNation. Tom Ackerley and Bronte Payne are overseeing the project for LuckyChap.

Park first teamed with LuckyChap on her breakout film with Amazon, the coming-of-age dramedy My Old Ass starring then-newcomer Maisy Stella and Aubrey Plaza, which brought her WGA and DGA Award nominations after premiering to great acclaim at Sundance and made her highly sought after by studios. Off the heat of that project, she reteamed with the company to sell the drama series Sterling Point, where she’s creator, co-showrunner, director and exec producer, to Amazon in a bidding war. Apple won her new film in another competitive situation.

An Emmy, SAG/Actor and Critics Choice Award nominee, Kravitz recently made her directorial debut with the lauded Amazon MGM thriller Blink Twice and appeared alongside Austin Butler in Darren Aronofsky’s Caught Stealing. She also played herself in a multi-episode arc in Apple’s acclaimed comedy The Studio. Upcoming, she’ll be seen starring alongside Nicholas Hoult in David Leitch’s heist flick How to Rob a Bank, which Amazon MGM releases in theaters on September 4. She is repped by CAA.
