Zendaya and Robert Pattinson have clashed as they discussed dating etiquette in a new interview with LADbible on Wednesday.
While promoting their new romantic comedy film The Drama, the pair were asked whether you should always split the bill on a date.
However while Zendaya confessed it would be nice for a man to pay on the first date, Robert expressed that he finds it 'sexy' if a girl secretly pays.
He said: 'I find it quite sexy when a girl does it if she does a secret pay. And I am like, alright, she's gonna take care of me. Yeah. I like it.'
Having a more balanced take, Zendaya said she's 'down for 'back and forth' but still appreciates 'a little chivalry.'
Elsewhere in the interview the stars also debated whether it is ok to tell white lies in a relationship.

'What does a little white lie look like? What is it really?' asked Zendaya.
She continued: 'I think I agree in the sense of like I've said that I was ready or needed five more minutes when I really needed 20. I'm honest. If I don't like something, I'll tell you that I don't like it.'
As Robert looked disapprovingly, Zendaya asked: 'You don't want somebody to tell you that they don't like it? Just lie to me.'
'Actually no,' said Robert: 'If I am coming in and saying "do you like it?" really I just want you to agree with me.'
Disagreeing, Zendaya said: 'I want an honest opinion.'
Also sharing her thoughts on PDA, the actress urged: 'I think it's case by case, right? I feel like, you know, like PDA is good, but like read the room.
'If everybody's uncomfortable, maybe don't do that. It's a case by case scenario. If your smooches are making people feel a little weird'
In her new film, The Drama, Zendaya stars as Emma Harwood, who is set to marry Charlie Thompson (Pattinson).
The story follows the lead-up to their wedding, and the plot twist occurs when one of them makes a shocking confession and sends the other into a spiral.

The Drama, written and directed by Kristoffer Borgli, premiered on March 17 in LA and is set to hit theaters nationwide on April 3.
Zendaya has been sparking speculation that she has tied the knot with her fiancé Tom Holland in recent weeks after she was seen sporting a gold band at numerous public events.
Zendaya's stylist Roach Law was the first one to fuel the wedding rumours, telling Access Hollywood at last month's Actor Awards: 'The wedding has already happened. You missed it.'
When asked if that was 'true,' Roach replied: 'It's very true!'
The news has yet to be confirmed by the couple's representatives, but they have both been keen to keep their relationship out of the spotlight.
Although Zendaya hasn't commented directly on the claims she has been keen to play into them on the press tour for her new movie.
She recently dropped the biggest hint yet that she's tied the knot when she and co-star Robert were asked by Views France about what makes the perfect marriage.
Zendaya replied: 'I don't know if there's any such thing as a perfect marriage, but I'd say like people who, and this is a corny answer, but seem like best friends.
'I think it's always nice to see two people that, I don't know, really like each other as well as love each other.'
Robert had nothing to add, simply telling Zendaya: 'That was a nice answer.'
