Created by a team of incredibly talented modders, Twilight Princess: Courage Reborn brings The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess to PC for the first time in an unofficial port. With the beloved title not yet being available on the Nintendo Switch, it is not an easy game to access, but courtesy of this project, it will now be accessible for millions of players. Following the news that the original GameCube code for Twilight Princess was successfully decomposed towards the end of 2025, the team behind Courage Reborn were able to get started on this monumental project, and for the first time, we can now get a sneak peek at the "completely crashless" game via YouTube.

Taking us through the introduction of the game, we can see all that this project has to offer from the bustling villagers, memorable NPCs, and, of course, those beloved mini-games.

So what does that mean for us? Well, the video details that the team's next step is to open source it via GitHub, meaning that other modders will be able to work it alongside them, and then hopefully, spread it to the masses. However, with native 60 FPS support, Mac and Linux compatibility, mouse and keyboard input (as well as controllers), and a main menu with modifiable graphics options, it is safe to say that Twilight Princess: Courage Reborn is already in an excellent state.

Zelda Fans Are Seriously Hyped For This Port

As you can imagine, Zelda fans are over the moon with this exciting new project. It may not be an official PC port or remake for Twilight Princess, but it is definitely the next best thing. As such, they took to the YouTube comments to share their thoughts. "I really expected this to take longer to even get to a stable state. Wow. That really is impressive.
