Zach Bryan slams 'weird' haters who have attacked his friends amid Brianna Chickenfry drama

Zach Bryan took to Instagram on Thursday to address online trolls who have attacked his friends months after his messy split from Brianna Chickenfry. 

The 28-year-old country crooner — whose ex-girlfriend revealed what she loves about being single — unleashed a series of Stories post slamming who he labeled 'weird couch warriors' for harassing his loved ones.

Zach and 25-year-old Brianna, whose real name last name is Lapaglia, ended their relationship in October after more than a year of dating.

The string of posts from the singer began, 'All you f*****g weird couch warriors attacking and belittling my friends on the internet because you're assuming I have a girlfriend are weird as hell and should be studied for science.'

The scathing takedown continued, 'Everyone wonders why I quit touring and don't want to be attached to music anymore, meanwhile you're calling my friends ugly and harassing them?' 

Bryan didn't hold back as he went on to deny being in a new relationship in the wake of his public breakup last fall.

'Apparently I've had four girlfriends in like two weeks, meanwhile my friends and me are just laughing and hanging out like we always have,' he wrote.

Clarifying his single status, he declared, 'I don't have a girlfriend and don't plan on having a girlfriend, however I do have normal friends that I love very much and would go to the ends of the earth for.' 

Referencing the devastating fires that have blazed through Los Angeles since Tuesday, he added, 'Go give your attention and time to the literal city burning down and stop being so sad and fickle and childish through screens.'

The star vowed his statement was 'the last thing I'll ever say on this.'  

'I'm not asking for sympathy but going for my friends is so low and so messed up,' he shared before telling his followers, 'You don't know me. You will never know me. Stop acting like you do.'

Advocating for himself, the Hey Driver music artist stated, 'I am allowed to have love, laughter, and good people in my life.'

In November Brianna alleged that Zach had cheated on her throughout their relationship.

But in his series of posts on Thursday, the songwriter told his online audience, 'No matter how bad of a person you think I am, go ahead and come for me. But do not come for my friends who do nothing but love and care for me.' 

The entertainer demanded that social media users 'stop being such sad and fat fingered internet sleuths to my friends.' 

Zach ever thwarted the supportive people who 'sympathize' with him and send encouraging messages.

'I don't need people telling me to hang in there, sympathizing with me, or giving me advice on how to handle something or things they've never coped with,' he wrote defiantly.

He added, 'I lost my mother, I've been in war zones and I've battled this whole fame thing for five years.

'Respectfully, I don't need your unsolicited advice. I am a grown man. I promise I can get through some little bullies on the internet.' 

After saying that he's 'terrifyingly [unfazed] by the fake s**t people say about me online,' he switched tones and added, 'Okay, have a good day, everyone. Love you. Miss you.'

Finally, the star shared a photo of his dog and said that he planned to 'hop off here for a bit.'

Meanwhile, Zach's ex-girlfriend Brianna attended the Golden Globes days ago, where she revealed what she's enjoying about single life.

'[Single life] is good. It’s fun,' she said, emphasizing, 'I like to have crushes. I like crushes.' 

But she noted, 'Fun is not having someone texting you 24/7 being like, "Where are you? What are you doing? What are you wearing?" It’s nice to just go out and have fun.'
