LG released its modular home theater system at CES 2026, complete with the H7 soundbar, M5 and M7 wireless speakers, and W7 subwoofer. This system is the first to feature Dolby Atmos FlexConnect, a Dolby technology that promises to deliver the Atmos experience, regardless of your speaker placement.

Now, LG says that specific TVs are compatible with Dolby Atmos FlexConnect, while others can act as a hub for the M5, M7, and W7 without needing a soundbar. Both features are available via an over-the-air software update.
Which LG TVs support Dolby FlexConnect?
According to the company, the 2025 LG OLED G5, C5, and CS5 models support Dolby Atmos FlexConnect. These TVs are among the top of LG's premium OLED Smart TV lineup, just below the G-series of OLED screens, and range from $1,400 to $25,000.

Other LG TVs without Dolby Atmos FlexConnect can still enjoy LG's Sound Suite technology, but only in a traditional, surround-sound setup. These TVs can connect to the M5 and M7 surround speakers and the W7 soundbar without needing the H7 soundbar. So, your TV acts as the surround sound hub. LG didn't specify which TVs support this configuration.
Where else is Dolby Atmos FlexConnect?
Last year, TCL announced the Z100 wireless speakers with Dolby Atmos FlexConnect. These small speakers can connect to a TCL QM6K, QM7K, QM8K, or QM9K TV, all of which are also compatible with Dolby Atmos FlexConnect.

Hisense also floated around Dolby Atmos FlexConnect compatibility at CES 2024, though the company is not yet offering compatible products in the US. For now, FlexConnect-enabled products cannot be mixed across brands, so you'll have to stick with a compatible TV and speaker from the same manufacturer.
In the US, LG offers the most complete FlexConnect-compatible system, so if you want to be among the early adopters, start with LG. The LG Sound Suite is available for purchase, and consumers can purchase each product individually. The H7 soundbar retails for $1,000, the M5 speaker for $250, the M7 speaker for $400, and the W7 subwoofer for $600.
