‘Your Friends & Neighbors’ Gets Early Season 3 Renewal At Apple TV; Season 2 Teaser Drops

Jon Hamm and the cast of Your Friends & Neighbors will be returning for a third season. Apple TV renewed the series ahead of the show’s Season 2 premiere on Friday, April 3. A teaser trailer for Season 2 was released above.

In Season 1 of the Jonathan Tropper-created series, after being fired in disgrace, Andrew “Coop” Cooper (Hamm), a hedge fund manager still grappling with his recent divorce, resorts to stealing from the homes of his neighbors in the exceedingly affluent Westmont Village. He discovers that the secrets and affairs hidden behind those wealthy facades might be more dangerous than he ever imagined.

In Season 2, Andrew Cooper doubles down on his life as an unlikely suburban thief, until the arrival of a new neighbor threatens to expose his secrets and place his family at risk.

James Marsden joins the fold in the upcoming new season, playing a man who moves into the neighborhood and becomes a new love interest for Munn’s character, Samantha Levitt. In the teaser trailer above, Marsden’s character challenges Coop’s ego.

“This Thomas Crown Affair kinda thing: rich guy so bored with his life, he risks it all just to feel alive. Oh, let’s be honest, you’re not that rich,” Marsden says in the video, leaving Hamm’s character Coop completely taken aback.

The returning cast also includes Amanda Peet, Olivia Munn, Hoon Lee, Mark Tallman, Lena Hall, Aimee Carrero, Eunice Bae, Isabel Gravitt and Donovan Colan.

The Apple Studios-produced series is created by bestselling author Tropper, who serves as showrunner, director, and executive producer for Tropper Ink under his overall deal with Apple TV. In addition to starring, Hamm executive produces alongside Connie Tavel, Craig Gillespie, Jamie Rosengard, Lori Keith Douglas, and Stephanie Laing, who directs six episodes.
