World Of Warcraft: How To Get Thrayir, Eyes Of The Siren Mount

1 week ago 8

One of the most anticipated new mounts in World of Warcraft's latest update is Thrayir, Eyes of the Siren, formerly known as the Stormcrow. A creature datamined as a possible mount as early as Patch 5.4.0, this electric eagle makes their official debut in the new 11.0.7 Patch. However, to get this mount, you have to explore the new Siren Isle area to fulfill a quest's objectives.

As of this time of writing, the exact conditions for unlocking Thrayir as a mount are unknown. However, an investigation of the new Siren Isle zone in WoW has revealed many secrets tied to the infamous Stormcrow, which resembles a royal blue bird with an aura of lightning.

How To Get Thrayir, Eyes Of The Siren In World Of Warcraft

Venture Into Multiple Storms

The most likely way you can get Thrayir, Eyes of the Siren as a mount is to gather different types of Runekey items found in Storm events on the Siren Isle. Storms are massive weather phenomena that take place sporadically within the new Zone. While a Storm is active, new types of enemies appear while the tempest restricts any sort of flying using mounts, abilities, or exotic pets in WoW within the region.

World of Warcraft: The War Within has a new Spirit Beast, and after some issues with figuring out how to tame it, players now have it solved.

Defeating enemies in Storms gives you a chance to collect special artifacts called Runekeys. Runekeys are labeled based on what Storm you found them in, such as a Torrential Runekey being found in a Torrential Storm. Try to gather as many as you can from these different types:

  • Torrential Runekey
  • Turbulent Runekey
  • Whirling Runekey
  • Cyclonic Runekey
  • Thunderous Runekey

Once you have at least one Runekey of each type, go to the Forgotten Tomb area of the Siren Isle. Here, you can find a fallen Thrayir sitting on an altar between a collection of stones with the same symbols as each of the Runekeys you collected. Wait until another type of Storm is active before you interact with any of these stones, as this is a requirement for unlocking the mount.

In theory, placing one type of Runekey on its corresponding stone will cause each of them to fill with energy. This energy will empower the fallen Thrayir, causing it to rise and giving you the item symbolizing its allegiance to your character as a mount. Although this method isn't completely proven as of this time of writing, clues around the Siren Isle in World of Warcraft make this the most likely strategy to get Thrayir, Eyes of the Siren.
