Did Kylie Jenner’s Golden Globes Name Card Have Timothée Chalamet’s Last Name? The Truth
Timothée Chalamet’s emotions were out of this world on his 30th birthday.
After all, his girlfriend Kylie Jenner surprised him with a private screening of his 2014 film Interstellar last December. But while the Dune actor was ultimately grateful for this gift, he shared he wasn’t in the greatest mood leading up to the celebration.
“I was grumpy on the way there because I didn’t know where she was taking me,” Timothée reflected to his Interstellar costar Matthew McConaughey in a clip shared on Jan. 20 of their upcoming conversation for CNN. “Like, ‘It’s my birthday. Why are we driving 30 minutes outside of L.A.?’”
However, all that changed when he realized the surprise she’d planned for him. As he recalled, "I got to the theater and it was Interstellar in IMAX. I said, ‘Oh, I’m sorry for being so grumpy on the drive.’ I love that movie, man.”
Indeed, he’s always had a soft spot for the film (in which he portrayed Tom Cooper, the son of Matthew’s character Joseph Cooper) since its release over a decade ago.
“I’ve legitimately maybe seen it 22 times or something,” he confessed to Matthew in the interview. "I saw it 12 times in theaters when it came out.”
But the special viewing isn’t the only quality time Kylie and Timothée—who started dating in 2023—have spent together over the last couple months. In fact, Kylie’s sister Khloe Kardashian recently revealed the couple partied with her until “1:30 in the morning” at a family dinner in January.
“It was so nice,” she said on her Khloe in Wonder Land podcast at the time. “We had so much fun. Kylie had the best time. She stayed after me!”

Kylie—mom to kids Stormi, 7, and Aire, 3, with ex Travis Scott—was also her boyfriend’s plus-one at the Golden Globes and Critics Choice Awards that same month. There, Timothée won several awards for his role in Marty Supreme, and he thanked the Khy founder for her loving devotion during his speech.
“Lastly, I’ll just say thank you to my partner of three years,” he said at the time. “Thank you for our foundation. I love you. I couldn’t do this without you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much. Appreciate it.”
Smiling from his heartfelt words, Kylie could be seen mouthing back, “I love you.”
