Luke Hemsworth Shares Why Costarring With Brothers Chris and Liam Hemsworth Would Be Difficult

Luke Hemsworth would like to volunteer as tribute to be Chris Hemsworth and Liam Hemsworth’s next costar.

The eldest Hemsworth brother, whose new film Beast hits theaters April 10, confessed that he wants to work with his siblings, revealing the trio has often talked about collaborating.

“I would love to do something,” Luke told E! News in an exclusive interview. “And we’ve talked about it a lot. I think we all just need to find the right project.”

And the time in their busy schedules, that is.

As the 45-year-old joked, “We need to get Chris booked in about two years in advance,” adding with a laugh, “He’s incredibly in demand.”

Still, the Westworld star is confident it will happen eventually. “I would love to,” he said. “So if anyone wants to write something, then please, please come and see us.”

And while the actor—who shares daughters Holly, 16, Ella, 15, and Harper, 13, as well as son Alexandre, 12, with wife Samantha Hemsworthis open to collaborating with his brothers, he is more hesitant about his kids getting into the spotlight.

Explaining that his kids have “all shown some sort of interest” in acting, Luke admitted to E!, “The youngest one keeps telling me that she wants to be an actor and I keep trying to discourage it as much as I can.”

“I want them to do whatever they want to do. I want them to be happy. And if that's what makes them happy, then great,” he continued. "But I also want them to get a bit more life experience."

For Luke’s part, his life experiences most recently led him to a role in the film Beast, about a retired MMA champ who gets pulled back into the world of fighting.

And working with fellow Aussie Russell Crowe, who also co-wrote the film, was a total knockout.

“If you don't become a sponge and soak up everything that someone like Russell is doing... then you're missing a big opportunity,” he said of working with the Oscar winner. “I always try to watch actors like him, and actors who are who are storied and have had incredible careers—you can't help but have a little bit of that dust hopefully rub off on you.”

Though Luke is intentional about learning from seasoned actors, he joked that the feedback he gets from his own brothers is far less insightful.

“Chris is always hassling me about my hair,” he quipped. “That’s really the only advice he ever gives me.”

Beyond that, Luke noted that simply getting each other to tune in is a challenge, adding with a laugh, “Either of us getting each other to watch each other’s stuff is the battle, that we face. We’re always like, ‘Have you seen that yet?’ ‘Oh, no, I know.’” He joked, “I’ll get to it, man, I promise.”

“She's not a blood relative,” Nancy clarified on a January 2026 episode of Toon’d In with Jim Cummings. “Her grandmother was married to my dad, so her dad was my stepbrother.”

And that family connection led to Nancy playing a pivotal role in Sabrina's success.

“They would come out every year and stay with me," she continued. "They lived with me for four months at a time during pilot season and helped her get management [and an] agent.”

The Emmy winner concluded, "She certainly doesn't need my help. I gave her a little boost and she ran with it, and I'm very proud of her.”
