Why Bondi's over-40s 'It' crowd is fawning over this dashing TV presenter who only dates older women - and he has quite the nickname

With a million-dollar smile, a chin that puts Superman's to shame, perfect hair and a Chesty Bond body, this handsome TV reporter has no shortage of female admirers.

But it seems Fox Sports and Sky News presenter Matt Suleau has a type, and if you aren't over 40, he probably won't give you a second glance.

The 36-year-old heart-throb has been jokingly described by society tattle-tales as 'the reverse Peter Pan' because of his predilection for dating older women - as opposed to the usual eastern suburbs player who shares Leonardo DiCaprio's preference for the under-25s.

And although he's not exactly prowling through retirement villages, his dating history shows he has a taste for ladies in their forties and above - and one of his exes is 50.

Matt is so sought-after that one of our snitches says it's a running joke among the hot mums that they must be looking their best in case he suddenly becomes single.

But sadly for these yummy mummies, the hunky TV host is currently taken.

His latest girlfriend is striking brunette Sharz Shabani Pour, the founder of Refine Marketing Australia. 

And even though Sharz turns 41 next month, she skews young compared to some of Matt's previous girlfriends.

The genetically blessed couple shared a cosy photo together to Instagram last month as they attended a public event together, with their matching suntans accentuated by his cream suit and her white dress.

Matt previously dated 44-year-old Real Housewives of Melbourne star Simone Elliott in 2022, following her split from her ex-fiancé Matt George, but their fling fizzled out.

'He's a gorgeous guy and we get along very well. We have a lot in common and we'll see where things go,' she said at the time, and credited him with helping her get over her break-up.

'After spending most of last year crying and trying to come to terms with the end of my engagement, I definitely enjoyed the summer. I'm feeling more confident than ever.'

A glowing endorsement! But Matt was more coy, saying that he and Simone were 'just hanging out'.

Another of the 'Reverse Peter Pan's' exes is glamorous socialite Maria Sprem, who is 50. 

A fixture at Sydney's most glamorous events, Sprem looks half her age in formal and swimwear alike, and recently shared a glimpses of an intercontinental 'birthday surprise' party with stops in Menorca, Ibiza, Croatia, Paris and Sydney.

Despite being still in his thirties, Matt is an 18-year television veteran, and was the youngest-ever presenter to host Sports Tonight.

He made a name for himself after landing a job at Channel 10, where he appeared on a variety of shows including Studio 10.

Matt joined Fox Sports Australia in 2015 taking on a role as breakfast presenter, has contributed to Sky News and was a former host of panel show Game Day Live.

Matt is also a Starlight Foundation ambassador and works as an influencer on the side, a gig that no doubt brings plenty of attractive young women into his orbit.
