In the most recent episode of Tulsa King season 2, Dwight had to grapple with some guilt for letting the gang war get as bad as it did, but he wasn't completely at fault for it. Dwight has acquired quite a few enemies this season, like Cal Thresher (Neal McDonough) and Jackie Ming (Rich Ting), who have contributed to the hostilities, but even they aren't solely to blame. Even Dwight's allies, mainly Tyson Mitchell (Jay Will), have helped bring things to a boiling point, especially after the ending of Tulsa King season 2, episode 7.

Dwight's Bad Decisions Started The Conflict Between Him & Bill Bevilaqua
After Dwight learned that Bill Bevilaqua was coming after him and the gang and looking for blood, he told Tina (Tatiana Zappardino) to head back to New York with her kids to keep everyone safe. That upset Tina, who had uprooted her entire life to be in Oklahoma with her father, so she convinced Dwight that he was responsible for the war by saying "Who sets the stage for bad things to happen?" Tina's words, as hurtful as they were, also had quite a bit of truth to them, and Dwight shares quite a bit of blame for his fight with Bill Bevilaqua.

While Dwight is certainly at fault for the war with Bill Bevilaqua, he is in no way the only reason for it. Tyson's decision to attack Bill was the biggest reason the war started, and Dwight actively tried to stop him. He told Tyson to wait for hard evidence about who was responsible, and when he found out that Tyson hadn't listened, Dwight tried to get him to leave before doing something stupid. In fact, Dwight had even started to cool off the tensions between Tulsa and Kansas City at the sit-down in Atlanta, but Jackie Ming's car bomb and Tyson's hotheadedness ruined it all.

Dwight's side of the conflict also doesn't hold all the blame, as both Bill Bevilaqua and Jackie Ming helped start the war. Aside from Tyson, Jackie's car bomb was the second-biggest reason the war started at all. If it hadn't been for the car bomb, Tyson wouldn't have gone after Bill, and the agreement Bill and Dwight worked out at the sit-down would still be in effect. Really, most of the bloodshed in the season so far has been a result of Jackie's actions, not Dwight's.
