She is a world-renowned supermodel and an accomplished entrepreneur, author, and television star.

And Elle Macpherson, 62, recently shared her talent for tunes with the world when she was revealed as one of the celebrity contestants on the Spanish version of the hit reality show The Masked Singer.

Elle was the first hopeful to be unveiled on the fifth season of Mask Singer: Guess Who's Singing? earlier this month.

She stepped into the character 'Microphone' - a quirky golden microphone creature complete with a large blue guitar.

Elle looked very much in her element as she paraded across the stage, delivering an energetic performance of The Black Eyed Peas' track I Gotta Feeling.

However, after losing a face-off and receiving the fewest votes during the elimination round, Elle was unmasked and eliminated.

Speaking about her performance after her elimination, Elle gushed about the fun she had on stage.

'My heart skipped a beat,' it was just so fun,' she said.

'It was just so unusual and different and out of my comfort zone.'

Elle added that there was one feature of her character's costume that she just could not get enough of.

'I fell in love with the tongue,' she said.

'It was so cute, and the team have done an amazing job creating this outfit for me.'

Antena 3, the Spanish channel that broadcasts the show, shared a clip of Elle's unmasking on Instagram, which elicited a flurry of comments from fans.

Many were quick to praise Elle for stepping out of her comfort zone.

'I admire you, Elle, for challenging yourself to do something new,' one fan wrote.

'You're an example to us all, showing how thinking outside the box can create something new, be fun and enjoyable, making the whole experience worthwhile,' one fan wrote.

Another added: 'She is the best!! What an excitement to have her for Spain. Spain loves you, Elle.'

Summing up the sentiment of many, a third offered: 'Wow, didn't know you could sing as well.'

In a recent interview, Elle discussed her wellness journey, revealing she could no longer rely on genetics alone once she hit 50.

Joining Amanda Wakeley on her podcast Style DNA, she revealed her tips for getting a good night's sleep after realising the importance of getting eight hours.

'I go to bed with a smile. I go to bed with a happy heart. And an eye mask. No clothes. My skin,' she said.

The model also explained that she avoids caffeine, eats her last meal at 5pm, and relaxes with a hot chocolate before drifting away.

She also claimed the first thing she does upon waking at 5am is 'smile' - and it's also the last thing she does before bed.

After reaching for a glass of water with lime, she dedicates 25 minutes of her morning to meditating in bed 'to take care of her mind, body and spirit' before jumping on her bike and cycling to the beach for a 6.30am swim.

If time is short, then Elle stays closer to home, explaining: 'I'll get outside and put my feet on the earth to ground. I do some yoga in the morning sun or Dr Zach's Four Minute Workout to stimulate nitric oxide.

'Sometimes I'll go for a cold plunge afterwards followed by a matcha in the sunshine before getting ready for my day.'

The mother-of-two always chooses to exercise outside and in nature by hiking, biking, swimming or 'simply sitting in the fresh air and sunshine'.

She said she has no set schedule when it comes to exercise and prefers to 'go with the flow' and swears by regular sessions in her infrared sauna as well as a cold plunge to 'reset'.

Elle then adds a collagen elixir to her morning smoothie and takes gut support and protein supplements to help with her nutrition.
