Where To Watch Goosebumps (Original Show & Reboot)

3 hours ago 3

R.L. Stine's beloved '90s book series Goosebumps spawned an equally iconic anthology television series that debuted on Fox Kids Network in 1995 and was later rebooted by Disney in 2023, and both versions of the show are easily available to watch online. The books and the original Goosebumps TV show were famous for walking the line between scariness and silliness, striking a unique balance that led to the series being embraced by millions since the release of the first novel in 1992. Disney's rebooted version of Goosebumps leans into that balance while updating the narratives for a modern audience.

Like the original series, Disney's rebooted Goosebumps TV show looks to titles from the books for its stories. However, where the first series was an anthology, with each episode representing a separate story, the reboot has one continuous narrative. The newer Goosebumps show is also exclusive to one streaming service. In contrast, the '90s series, which initially aired on commercial television via Fox Kids Network, can now be found on various video-on-demand platforms and only partially on a different major streaming service.

Goosebumps Season 2 Premiered In January 2025

The first season of the Goosebumps reboot series streams on Disney+ and Hulu. The first season premiered on Friday the 13th, in October 2023. The first five episodes debuted all at once, with further episodes airing every week through the season 1 finale, which aired on November 17, 2023. Additionally, the first two episodes of the series aired on Freeform, a Disney property, as part of their 31 Nights of Halloween set of programming. Now, the second season is coming to Disney+ as well.

Goosebumps returned with a second season in January 2025.

The second Goosebumps season premiered on Disney+ on January 10, 2025. However, this release is different from the first season. Instead of releasing a few episodes and then releasing the rest weekly, the entire season hits the streaming service, with all eight episodes hitting on January 10. The series is in its second season but will not be listed as "season 2." Instead, the series will be called Goosebumps: The Vanishing. While many of the cast returns, the series will become an anthology series (similar to Fargo), so they will play new characters.
