Exact details on Selma Blair’s recent plane incident and arrest remain up in the air.

However, authorities have shared some information about the alleged events.

The actress was traveling onboard a Delta flight from Los Angeles to New York on Oct. 11. According to the Federal Aviation Administration, the flight crew had reported a passenger disturbance. After the flight safely arrived at John F. Kennedy International Airport that evening, New York's Port Authority Police Department responded to the call and identified the passenger as Blair.

Two flight attendants reported injuries after landing.

Blair was then taken into custody and to the hospital for evaluation. She has also been accused of injuring a police officer as well as a nurse at the hospital, according to an affidavit obtained by E! News.

The Cruel Intentions star was arraigned on Oct. 12. The judge set her bail at $20,000 cash or $60,000 bond. She has since been released.

Blair faces two counts of assault in the second degree, to which she pleaded not guilty.

While she has yet to publicly address the incident, her rep told E! News Oct. 12, "Selma experienced a medical emergency that led to the alleged conduct. Upon landing, she received immediate medical attention and is currently in stable condition."

The FBI is investigating the incident. To learn more about what’s been shared about the case so far, keep reading.

What Do We Know About Selma Blair’s Alleged Plane Incident and Altercations?

Among the two flight attendants who reported injuries, one was taken to the hospital for evaluation. In audio control shared by ABC News, air traffic control can be heard saying that a flight attendant and a passenger "sustained some minor injuries—a bloody nose as well as some bite marks" and that the "disruptive passenger" may have "also bashed her head on the bulkhead or something like that."

In response, Delta told E! News in a statement Oct. 12, “Delta has zero tolerance for unruly or unlawful behavior as the safety of our customers and crew always comes first."

While Blair was being transported to the hospital and secured on a stretcher, she allegedly "removed her leg from the stretcher straps" and kicked a police officer "repeatedly about the face, neck and chest," according to an affidavit obtained by E! News. The court documents note the officer suffered injuries—including swelling to the jaw as well as "substantial pain to her face, neck and chest"— and was treated at a hospital.

In addition, the affidavit states that Blair kicked a hospital nurse in the chest and "caused substantial pain."

What Has Selma Blair’s Attorney Said About the Alleged Altercation?

According to Page Six, Blair’s attorney Shawn Barnes listed several factors at the arraignment that he said had affected her, including her missing medication that’s prescribed for her battle with multiple sclerosis, working "extensive" and "exhaustive" hours in the days leading up to the flight as well as falling and hitting her head.

"These factors coupled with the altitude resulted in a state of severe confusion and disorientation," he said, per the outlet—insisting "this was not an intentional assault."

While Barnes reportedly applauded Blair’s career and called her the "gold standard," Page Six reported the judge said Blair "should not get special treatment because she is a celebrity."

What Did Selma Blair Say About Her Previous Plane Incident?

This isn’t the first time Blair has made headlines over a plane disruption. Back in 2016, she spoke out after she was removed from a plane and taken to the hospital.

"I made a big mistake yesterday," Blair, who had been traveling back to Los Angeles after a trip to Cancun with her then 4-year-old son Arthur and her ex Jason Bleick, told Vanity Fair at the time. "After a lovely trip with my son and his Dad, I mixed alcohol with medication, and that caused me to black out and led me to say and do things that I deeply regret. My son was with his Dad asleep with his headphones on, so there is that saving grace."

"I take this very seriously, and I apologize to all of the passengers and crew that I disturbed and am thankful to all of the people who helped me in the aftermath," the Legally Blonde alum added. “I am a flawed human being who makes mistakes and am filled with shame over this incident. I am truly very sorry."

E! News has reached out to Blair's attorney for comment but has yet to hear back.
