What Time Resident Evil Requiem Goes Live In Your Region

Launch times for Resident Evil Requiem have been revealed ahead of its release later this week. The ninth mainline title in the series, Requiem is easily the most anticipated horror game of 2026.

Now, developer/publisher Capcom has revealed, in a Steam Community post, the global release dates and times for Resident Evil Requiem. Exactly when you'll be able to play Requiem varies by the region and platform you're signing in from; read on for the full breakdown.

The table below explains when Resident Evil launches in your region/for your preferred console. Note that the game launches at different times on console and PC; although all consoles will see a simultaneous release for this one, PC players will be slightly out of sync.

Resident Evil isn't getting a simultaneous international release; for console players in most time zones, it'll release at midnight local time on its official launch date, February 27. Note that if you've preordered the game, you may be able to preload Requiem beginning on February 25 (exact date and time may vary by region).

In most cases, the PC version of Requiem launches a bit later than the console version, with a few exceptions. In the Pacific Standard and Eastern Standard Time zones, it'll be out on PC and console simultaneously.

As you'll note, some regions are seeing staggered launches for the Switch 2 and other console versions of Resident Evil Requiem. Players in the Central Standard Time zone will get the Switch 2 version about an hour early, whereas players on Brasilia Time will get it two hours late.

Resident Evil Reqiuem is a huge deal for fans of the legacy horror series. It's already garnered rave reviews, including one from Screen Rant's Chris Carter, calling Resident Evil Requiem "an experiment that paid off... Capcom has the thrills down to a science."

Although classically Resident Evil in many ways, Requiem makes numerous changes the franchise's gameplay formula. With new weapons, new enemy types, and the ability to switch between first- and third-person cameras, it brings the series forward while also reviving old features.

Tying together decades of lore and characters, this is expected to be a landmark entry in the franchise, and hopefully the beginning of a new era for RE. Thankfully, we won't have to wait too long to figure out what Resident Evil Requiem is all about.
