Looking for something to stream that won’t cost an arm and a leg in subscription and rental fees? A slew of shows and films like “Killing Eve,” “Black Jesus,” “2001: A Space Odyssey,” “You’ve Got Mail,” “Rye Lane,” “Fargo,” “Prey” and more will be arriving on the free ad-supported streaming service Tubi starting on Jan. 1.
With the new year quickly approaching, Tubi has a slew of offerings in multiple different genres. For your family members who love action flicks, tune into “Bad Boys” or “Kung Fu Hustle.” For more pure comedy fans, the outrageous “Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar” comes to streaming alongside classics like “Fargo.” Or maybe sci-fi is more your speed: try “Independence Day” or “Jack the Giant Slayer” for some adventure to kick off 2025.
As for originals, Tubi will premiere five new projects — an action film, documentary and three thrillers.
