Waterloo Road star, 21, with a VERY famous sister looks unrecognisable as she dazzles on the red carpet - but can YOU guess who it is?

Given her sister is a BAFTA-nominated star and her mother is a mainstream TV legend, she always seemed likely to be a hit on screen.

Throw in the fact that her grandmother was a well-known figure on the box and some of Emmerdale's key plots were written by her father and her ascent to TV stardom feels almost inevitable.

Recently, the Waterloo Road actress, 21, seemed unrecognisable as she wowed on the red carpet at the Royal Television Society Awards in a pink lace midi dress.

She was born in the Trafford area of Greater Manchester and arrived into a home focussed on the small screen, giving her the perfect platform to crack the industry.

The star entered the public consciousness with an appearance on Lorraine alongside her father in 2019 and an interview with OK! sitting beside her mother, before landing her breakthrough role in the soap in April 2023.

But can YOU guess who this up-and-coming young actress is?

It is none other than Hattie Dynevor, who plays Libby Guthrie in Waterloo Road and whose family has made a big impact on British soaps over the years

It is none other than Hattie Dynevor, who plays Libby Guthrie in Waterloo Road and whose family has made a big impact on British soaps over the years.

She is well known for her role as history teacher Neil Guthrie's daughter in the classic show, entering the fray two years ago for the 13th series.

Hattie made such an impact on the school drama that she returned to play Libby in the 14th season last year.

The star also made an appearance in an episode of the ITV series Drama Queens alongside her mother Sally.

She has been making waves at various TV galas of late, oozing sophistication in the pink lace corseted dress at the RTS event in Manchester in Novemeber.

Waterloo Road, about a troubled comprehensive school set in Rochdale, Lancashire, helped put her sister Phoebe, 29, on the map 16 years ago when she secured the role of Siobhan Mailey.

She followed up the breakthrough with a supporting role in BBC drama Prisoners' Wives as the character Lauren, who is the daughter of a gangster.

(Older sister Phoebe also impressed as Martha Cratchit in BBC series Dickensian and played Clare, Josh's Irish fiancee, in the comedy show Younger in 2017.

The sisters' mother Sally has played Sally Webster in Coronation Street since 1986

But her career-defining moment came in 2020 when she was cast as Daphne Bridgerton, the lead character in the opening season of Netflix's period drama Bridgerton.

She appeared again, albeit in a much smaller role, in season two, but was completely absent in season three - which she and fans lamented.

This triggered a wave of opportunities in the world of film and Phoebe played ceramicist Clarice Cliff in The Colour Room in 2021 before starring in the Bank Of Dave in 2023 alongside Rory Kinnear.

She then acted opposite Alden Ehrenreich in the thriller Fair Play which received widespread critical acclaim.

These roles have led her to hobnob with the great and the good of American showbusiness and earlier this month Phoebe who recently covered Porter magazine — made a fashion-forward appearance at a screening for her new film Inheritance in New York City.

She modeled a strapless ivory and black dress with pointy-toe black heels and the classic look boasted an added edge with a dramatic, fanned-out bodice before transitioning into a clinging skirt.

Before Thursday evening's screening, she made an appearance on the Today show, where she discussed her experience shooting the forthcoming film.

'It was bizarre. I mean, absolutely bizarre,' she described about shooting the movie on an iPhone.

'We'd film on planes, we'd film in, you know, passport control. I mean, it was edgy. I think you're really kind of able to get that feeling when you watch it,' the silver screen siren noted.

Phoebe dated American comedian Pete Davidson before meeting her fiance Cameron Fuller in 2023.

The sisters' mother Sally has played Sally Webster in Coronation Street since 1986 for which she has won numerous awards.

Sally featured in the 14th series of Dancing On Ice in 2021, pairing up with Matt Evers before they became the sixth couple to be voted off the ITV show.

Last year Phoebe revealed the supportive words her famous mother shared with her after Bridgerton became a huge success in 2020.

In an interview with Elle UK, she said: 'My mum's best advice has been to just enjoy it all.'

She added: 'There was a certain point with Bridgerton where I was overanalyzing everything and my mum told me to just embrace it all, and not to be terrified of it.

'Fame doesn't do great things to people in the public eye — particularly men! She's really helped me navigate it all.'

Despite her celebrity status, Phoebe revealed she is more comfortable being at home rather than on the red carpet, describing herself as a 'real hermit.'

The star explained: 'Day to day I'm very low key though. I'm happiest at home in my tracksuit and I never leave my neighborhood in North London.

'I have my little coffee place that I go to every day and I read and I'm a real hermit!'

The famous genes do not stop there, however, with Phoebe and Hattie's father Tim a screenwriter for ITV soap Emmerdale.

And, tracing further back, their grandmother Shirley was also a TV star, playing a key role in the 1959 BBC crime drama Charlesworth before featuring in a range of shows including Scotland Yard and Armchair Theatre.

She also went on to work as a stage manager for Coronation Street, where her daughter was of course playing a leading role.

Shirley, who died in January 2023 aged 89, was also a star of the stage and appeared in A Christmas Carol, Richard II and many more as part of the Theatre Workshop.

At the Workshop, she met future husband Gerard Dynevor who was - to no one's shock - also an actor.

Big footsteps to follow, but it seems the next member of the Dynevor clan is well on her way to becoming a TV star of the future.
