Vanessa Hudgens' Husband Cole Tucker Reveals Sex of Baby No. 2
Cole Tucker is hitting dad duty right out of the park.
The former MLB star—who shares two kids with wife Vanessa Hudgens—revealed rare details about his family life, including the sex of the couple’s youngest baby, who was born in November.
“Two kids now,” Cole, 29, said on the Jan. 14 episode of the Baseball Isn’t Boring podcast before noting his babies’ ages. “I got 7 weeks and a year-and-a-half right now.”
He quipped, “I’m in the fight.”
When asked whether the couple—who have not publicly announced the names of their kids—share sons or daughters, Cole revealed that they have “one of each,” confirming that baby no. two was a little girl.
As for whether he hopes his son—who the couple welcomed in July 2024—will become a major league athlete like his dad? Well, Cole just wants him to be happy.
“I want him to do whatever he wants to do, but my wife and I want to expose him to as much as we can,” the professional athlete explained. “He was born on July 1st last year, and he plays the drums and the piano and the guitar and baseball.”
“He hits the ball off the tee, and he swings golf clubs and hits the ball, and he’s shooting hoops, now,” Cole—who tied the knot with the High School Musical alum, 37, in 2023—gushed. “He loves basketball. We just want to show him everything and whatever he wants to do, we’ll support him.”
“My wife and I both ended up having jobs that people told us would never come true or would never come to fruition, so we’re very open-minded,” he continued. “Whatever our kids want to do, we’ll support them and love them no matter what. I don’t want him to feel like he has any pressure to be a baseball player.”

While there’s no expectation for the pair’s son to take up baseball as a profession, Cole definitely wants “him to play baseball as a kid.”
“I think everyone should play baseball because it teaches you so much about yourself and life and working with other people and whatnot,” the dad of two added. “I want him to have that experience, and my wife is super excited to be the T-ball team mom.”
Cole explained, “But I don’t want him to feel like, ‘You have to go to the big leagues because dad did.’ That pressure and anxiety would suck. But if you want, let’s go.”
