Jude Law's First Wife Sadie Frost

Jude Law was 21 when he met then-28-year-old Sadie Frost while making the 1994 British crime drama Shopping.

Frost's divorce from her first husband, Spandau Ballet musician Gary Kemp, was finalized the following year, and she married Law in September 1997.

Over the course of their relationship, Frost (also mom to son Finlay with Kemp) and Law welcomed sons Raff Law and Rudy Law, as well as daughter Iris Law.

Frost shared in her 2010 memoir Crazy Days that she suffered from severe postpartum depression, writing, "The more I worried about my condition, the more self-obsessed I became and the less attention I gave to Jude."

She and Law separated in January 2003 and divorced that August, saying in a statement it was "the only way forward."

Frost called Law "the love of my life" in her book, noting he "was a wonderful partner" and "a great dad."

And, she wrote, "We get on pretty much most of the time. Sometimes there's a disagreement or we annoy each other but we resolve it quickly and move on."

Law told The Guardian in 2011 that he and Frost had "a really good setup [in London] where we have a very healthy 50-50 custody arrangement and we live close by."

He had tentatively reconciled with fame, noting, "I still enjoy a very normal life with my kids. We use trains and buses and that's often the best way. If you build up some sort of psychological bubble around you, I think you're asking for trouble."

Son Raffterty "Raff" Jellicoe Frost Law

Law and Frost's first child together was born Oct. 6, 1996.

Speaking to HELLO! in 2024, Raff called his family "super-close," noting, "Ever since I was young, I was always playing music and my sister Iris would do a dance show for Mum. Me and Dad would go on an adventure around the park and play make-believe. It feels like that now, but it's moved forward a few years."

As in, the Masters of the Air alum was trying his hand at the family business.

Noting the "positives and hindrances" of having such a famous father, Raff said, "At the end of the day, that is my life. My family are my family and that isn't going to change. As long as I know what I want to do, and that is act in some really great series and films, that's what I will do."

On the personal front, Raff has been dating Rosa Ramirez since at least 2023.

Daughter Iris Tallulah Elizabeth Law

Iris was born Oct. 25, 2000.

Following in godmother Kate Moss' footsteps, she has been modeling since she was a teenager, posing for the likes of Burberry, Miu Miu, Fendi and other major designers.

“I’ve always been very aware of what I did and didn’t like,” Iris, who studied textiles at Central Saint Martins in London, told British Vogue in February 2026. “I’m very sensory and I really care about what clothes feel like.”

She insisted to ES Magazine in 2018 that her mom and dad "weren’t rock ’n’ roll when I was growing up, they were just my parents."

While she admittedly wasn't "in the position to know what it was like [to have experienced fame] as overwhelming as my dad experienced...I’m not pressing for it and I’m also not pressing against it."

And, as she told The Standard in 2021, "I’m so lucky to have such amazing people to look up to who I know and can ask for advice. If there’s anything I’m doing that’s new, my parents have done before, they’re always a phone call away. It’s been really great to get some insight."

Son Rudy Indiana Otis Law

Rudy, here in 2024 with his mom and half-brother Finlay, was born Sept. 10, 2002.

The youngest of Frost and Law's three children together, Rudy hasn't yet taken the full plunge into show business, minus a couple of acting credits in short films, but he has made a few red carpet appearances with his siblings and posts occasionally on Instagram.

"It’s interesting that my eldest children don’t seem to disappear," Law told The Observer in 2016, referring to his kids with Frost. "They always want to come home, which I think is a really good sign. In the end, home’s comfortable, it’s safe and it’s interesting, I hope. They think, ‘Oh, well, maybe [our parents are] older than us, but they’ve got interesting people gathered round.’ I always felt like that in my house [as a kid]. It felt like there was stuff going on that I wanted to be a part of.”

Former Fiancée Sienna Miller

Law and Miller met in 2003 on the set of the Alfie remake and got engaged over Christmas in 2004.

But they never reached the honeymoon phase, with tabloids reporting in 2005 that Law had stepped out on Miller with his children's nanny Daisy Wright.

He subsequently issued a public apology to the actress and their respective families, saying in a statement to the British Press Association, "Following the reports in today's papers, I just want to say I am deeply ashamed and upset that I've hurt Sienna and the people most close to us."

He and Miller split up, got back together months later and then parted ways for good toward the end of 2006.

"It feels like somebody else's existence," Miller, who shares a daughter with ex Tom Sturridge and is pregnant with her and partner Oli Green's second child, reflected to ELLE U.K. in 2022. "I can go and visit it and look at it, but it doesn't feel like my life. I can't quite believe that it all happened. And not to put it specifically on that one thing, but just the chaos of the entire decade is so far removed from my life now."

Daughter Sophia Law With Samantha Burke

Law met Burke while filming Sherlock Holmes in New York in 2008 and, while they were no longer together by the time Law found out he was going to be a father for the fourth time, his rep said the actor intended "to be a fully supportive part of the child's life."

Burke's lawyer told People that Law had "been responsive and supportive throughout the relationship and pregnancy," and that the pair were "committed to the health and well-being of this child."

Law was in previews for Hamlet on Broadway when Sophia was born Sept. 22, 2009. 

Burke's rep told People at the time that she was "overwhelmed with joy at the arrival of her beautiful and healthy baby girl, Sophia. The baby and mom are doing wonderful."

Sophia grew up primarily with her mom in the U.S. and they lead a private life.

Daughter Ada Law with Catherine Harding

Law was no longer seeing Ada's mother when she was born on March 15, 2015, but Harding said he was a hands-on dad from the start.

"She looks like Jude massively, she doesn’t look like me," the singer told the Irish Mirror when Ada was 2 months old. “Jude is really funny and sweet. I remember last week he came over and he had to change her on the park bench. He cleaned her all up."

While Harding said she only wanted her own mother present for Ada's birth, Law came as soon as she called him afterward.

The singer, who also goes by Cat Cavelli, said that she met Law in a bar in London's Soho neighborhood—and, contrary to reports that they dated for seven weeks, "it was more like seven months. We are friends now but we’re not going to get back together."

Harding went on to welcome son Jax with Brazilian footballer Jorginho (born Jorge Luiz Frello Filho) in 2020, and she and the athlete tied the knot in 2025.

They were back in the headlines in March 2026 when Jorginho alleged on Instagram Stories that Chappell Roan sicced her security on Ada after the 11-year-old walked by the singer's table and smiled at her at a hotel in Brazil.

Roan subsequently posted that she had no idea any of this had occurred, noting that the guard who approached them was not her personal security. 

“I’m sorry to the mother and child that someone was assuming that you would do something and if you felt uncomfortable,” Roan wrote. “That makes me really sad. You did not deserve that."

2 Children with Wife Phillipa Coan

Law was first romantically linked to Coan, a psychologist, in 2015 and they married in April 2019.

"I'm fortunate to be with someone where I'm having more fun than I've ever had in my life," the actor told The Telegraph in January 2020. "We have an incredibly stable and healthy, wonderful family existence. And that involves my kids who are young adults...and then the younger ones are just so much joy and so much fun. I love it, so absolutely, why not [have another]? I'm very lucky to be involved with someone I'm madly in love with. So the idea of having more children would be just wonderful."

The actor confirmed in September 2020 that they had, in fact, welcomed a baby, sharing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, "It's really wonderful. We feel pretty blessed that we were in a time where we could, as a family, just nest and enjoy each other's company and every day as it came."

Law told Fresh Air in September 2025 that his youngest of seven children was 3, indicating that his and Coan's second baby together was born either toward the end of 2021 or in 2022. They've yet to share the name or sex of either of their kids.
