With so many Legendary, Mythic, and Secret tier units, Anime Realms is one of the biggest AA clones to date. Get ahead of everyone else by rolling only for the best units with the help of our definitive Anime Realms tier list below.
Anime Realms Story Tier List
The Anime Realms story tier list above is viable for other non-infinite content as well, such as portals. We ranked units based on the impact they can have with the limited amount of Yen you will get in these game modes.
Anime Realms Infinite Tier List
Infinite modes are very different. Bring Speedcart, and you will have enough Yen to survive the early waves with ease and eventually upgrade all units. With that in mind, we ranked the units in the Anime Realms tier list for infinite modes based on their strength when fully upgraded.
Because you get so many Gems by grinding the Infinite modes, try to roll for units such as Goku, Enol, and Aizen at the beginning. They are equally strong for the story, which makes them ideal to aim for in the early game. If you do manage to get one of them, you will have a much easier time grinding for other mythic units afterward.

The above Anime Realms tier lists differ from each other, so we decided to separate units by rarity. You get most units by rolling on the banners that rotate in the game. Though, there are a few exceptions. You get Yuno as a reward from tournaments, and you can obtain secret units in specific ways detailed in our Anime Realms Secret units guide.
Recommended traits depend on how worth it is to spend your Star Remnants and Reroll Tokens on some units. As you shouldn’t be rerolling traits of Epic and Rare units anyway, the recommended traits for Epic and Rare units are less rare. You can find a detailed list of all traits and their effects in our Anime Realms traits list.
Best Units for The Early Game in Anime Realms
Unless you redeemed our Anime Realms codes, you will have very little gems to spend on new units. Back that up with only 4 unit slots you get at the start, and you will quickly wonder who to bring with you when the choice is so limited. With that in mind, these are the units that are most useful at the start:
- Ichigoat: He is one of the units you can select as your starting unit, and I recommend you do so. He has the best DPS out of the starter units and a decent AoE as well.
- Kid Sosuke: Despite his small AoE, he has the highest DPS out of all rare units. He is especially useful for fighting bosses in the early story stages.
- Speedcart: You will be using Speedcart no matter what game mode you play because he is the only farm unit in the game. Once you get him, you will always keep him in your party.
- Stork: Stork has five max placements, and he is the strongest DPS epic unit. He has excellent range and a massive AoE that is also a multi-hit attack, making him perfect for taking down shields.
- Genoz: Genoz has less placement compared to Stork and Friezo, but he has massive AoE and similar DPS. Due to his range and AoE, he is the best early-game epic DPS unit.
How Unit Summoning Works in Anime Realms
To summon units in Anime Realms, click on the Summon button on the left side of your screen or go to the Summon area and enter the zone inside of it. In the menu that pops up, you can see:
- The characters that have increased summon rate, and if you click on the banner’s thumbnail, you can see the pull rates for all units.
- Your pity status and the time until which the banner is available at the top.
There are two banner tiers: at level 5, you unlock shiny units, and at level 20, you unlock Secret tier units on banners. Each banner has its pity counter that lets you get at least a Legendary unit every 50 pulls. Mythic pity, even though hidden, guarantees you get a Mythic-tier unit every 400 summons. Neither of these two pities reset if you get a Legendary or a Mythic before hitting the pity.
How to Sell and Fuse Units
Because you will be rolling for a lot of units even at the start, your unit inventory will eventually become full. Open up the units menu (K), and either sell or fuse the units you don’t need. You can also go to the battlepass shop and expand your unit inventory by paying Robux.
I hope the RNG is on your side when rolling for the best units. If you want to bring out their full power with some powerful traits, then check out our Anime Realms trait list.
