Travis Kelce Teases Dream Wedding Timeline
For Travis Kelce, the idea of a fall wedding is a little gauche.
After all, 'tis the damn season for football. And the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, who is dating Taylor Swift, knows a lot of people who would be focused on the game rather than the actual nuptials.
"I actually don't know people who've gotten married in the fall," Travis said on the Jan. 8 episode of his New Heights podcast, after a caller revealed that he was in a tiff with his girlfriend because she wants to get married on a day he would likely be attending a football game. "My friends always do it in the summer."
The 35-year-old continued, "I've seen weddings everywhere but the fall. So, I'm not sure if the fall is a good wedding season."
Besides, according Travis, all his pals have season tickets to football games.
"Don't make my friends have to not go," he joked to his older brother and co-host Jason Kelce. "Don't make my friends choose whether or not they'll have to sell their tickets that week."
But for Jason, who married wife Kylie Kelce in April 2018, there are "a lot more important things than football."
"Weddings happen to be one of them," the former Philadelphia Eagles center noted. "Not arguing with your wife is high up there."

His advice to the caller? "Do the fall wedding and avoid this frivolous fight that means absolutely f--king nothing," Jason suggested. "There are a lot of days in the fall that's not football."
As the 37-year-old put it, "You can have a wedding on a Friday."
However, Travis digresses. While he's not a huge fan of an autumn wedding, the Grotesquerie actor will stick to convention when it comes to which day the ceremony should fall on.
"It's a weekend thing," Travis reasoned. "It's a whole weekend thing."
