Travis Kelce, Colin Jost Bond Over Being "Less Famous" Than Partners

Travis Kelce and Colin Jost know exactly how to fit into the lives of their showgirls.

And the NFL star and Saturday Night Live cast member are able to shake it off when it comes to being compared to their respective partners, Taylor Swift and Scarlett Johansson.

Indeed, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end connected with Colin, 43, over being a member of the "plus one fraternity."

"How nice is it to be the less famous person in the relationship?" Travis asked the “Weekend Update” host on the May 13 episode of his and brother Jason Kelce's New Heights podcast, to which Colin replied, "Huge relief. Really."

Colin—who has been married to Scarlett since 2020—went on to joke that they can "commiserate" over having famous partners, to which the professional athlete replied with a laugh, "I'm on the team. I'm here for it."

But despite Scarlett being more well-known than Colin, he admitted that fans actually come up to him more than the Marvel star.

"It's really funny because I'm probably almost approached more because she's less approachable," he explained with a laugh. "Because I'm on TV. I'm in their living room, so they're just like, 'Hey, what's up man? How's it going?'"

The comedian—who shares son Cosmo, 4, with Scarlett—said his wife is "so famous" that it's almost unbelievable for some fans to grasp when they meet her.

"We've been traveling and we've been standing at the passport check," Colin explained, "and the person's looking at her passport and he'll be like, 'Has anyone ever told you you look like Scarlett Johansson?'"

"Like, genuinely asking and not realizing, even though he's looking at her," he continued. "He's like, 'It would be weirder if it was her.'"

Yet, from his point of view, Colin admitted, "It's really kind of awesome."

But there is one downside of Scarlett’s superstardom: Colin revealed a bizarre phenomenon that occurs when he's in public.

"The other thing I noticed, too, is that if we're ever ordering food, you know the order is not going to be right," he explained. "If we go buy a sandwich or something, she'll order and the person will recognize her and then doesn't write down anything about the sandwich. Completely distracted, all the ingredients are wrong. We'll open the sandwich and nothing is [right]."

He added, "It's really funny. It's bread and just, like, a pickle."

And aside from problems getting the correct food order, Colin noted his marriage to the Black Widow star comes with other hilarious challenges as well.

"As a stand-up [comedian], I would have jokes about either somewhat the idea of dating or the idea of marriage or what that is," he said. "I can't be like, 'She's nagging me about this!' Everyone's like, shut the f--k up!' It really eliminated that part of stand-up."
