Apple TV has firmly distinguished itself as a leader of premium original streaming content during the 2020s, and these five series represent some of the very best shows that the platform has to offer, including sci-fi epics, spy thrillers, and feel-good comedies.
Apple TV viewers looking for other streaming content this week, February 2–6, 2026, should browse Screen Rant's updated binge-watching guides for other platforms, such as Netflix, Prime Video, HBO Max, Peacock, and Paramount+.
Slow Horses
Slow Horses is one of, if not the, best spy thriller series on Apple TV. Starring Oscar winner Gary Oldman, this dark comedy/psychological thriller consists of five seasons, with at least two more seasons expected to be released in the near future.
Slow Horses was somewhat of a quiet streaming hit on Apple TV before it was nominated for 9 Emmys in 2024, winning one for Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series. If you're looking for the best of the best on Apple TV and have a taste for spy thrillers, it doesn't get much better than Slow Horses.
For All Mankind
For All Mankind is also an elite binge-watching selection available on Apple TV. Originally released in 2019, the space sci-fi series has been one of the longest-running and most critically acclaimed series on the platform. Season 5 is set to premiere in late March 2026.
For All Mankind takes place in an alternative version of 1969 in which the Soviet Union beat the United States in the space race to the moon. If you're fascinated by alternative historical fiction, such as The Man in the High Castle, consider this series a must-watch.
The Last Thing He Told Me
While this Jenifer Garner-led whodunnit series received mixed reviews for its first season, which premiered back in 2023, a second season is set to premiere on Apple TV on Friday, February 20. The series also stars Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Game of Thrones) and Angourie Rice (The Beguiled).
The Last Thing He Told Me is based on the novel by Laura Dave, who also adapted the source material for television. The first season consists of just seven episodes, perfect for a quick binge, and follows a woman who searches for the truth about her husband's mysterious disappearance.
The Morning Show
The Morning Show has been one of the most popular series on Apple TV since it premiered back in 2019. The showbiz drama initially chronicled the cancellation and fall from grace of a once-beloved morning news anchor in its first season.
Since then, the star-studded corporate drama has grown to feature one of the best ensemble casts on streaming, including Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, Jon Hamm, and Steve Carell. It has also won 4 Emmys during its 4-season run, with season 5 expected later this year.
Ted Lasso
Ted Lasso remains the go-to comfort show for millions of Apple TV subscribers, and with good reason. While similar dramedy series like Shrinking and Stick have become streaming hits as well, Ted Lasso is the original that started it all and is one of the most re-watchable shows on the platform.
Although Ted Lasso was said to have ended after season 3 was released in 2023, the series will return for a fourth season later this year. Starring Jason Sudeikis in a career-best role, this is one Apple TV original series that subscribers simply can't miss.
