EXCLUSIVE: Rachel Keller (Fargo, Tokyo Vice) has secured a key leading role in the new CBS legal drama Cupertino, from Robert and Michelle King (The Good Wife, The Good Fight). She will work closely with lead Mike Coulter, whose casting was previously announced.

Cupertino is a David vs. Goliath legal drama set in the heart of Silicon Valley that follows Michael (Colter), a lawyer who is being cheated out of his stock options by his former employer, a tech start-up. Refusing to back down, he joins forces with Olivia, another recently fired attorney, to represent those taken advantage of by the tech elite and help them fight back in a high-stakes battle against the Goliaths controlling Silicon Valley.

Keller will play Olivia, a Midwestern recent law school grad who finds herself fired by a Silicon Valley start-up, and joins forces with Michael to form an underdog law firm to take on the tech giants.

The series regular cast also includes Renée Elise Goldsberry, who will play Renee, a brilliant opposing attorney who has a professional and romantic history with Michael, and Ella Stiller as Christy, a young assistant at the new start-up law firm in Cupertino that’s at the heart of the story.

The Kings will write and serve as executive producers on Cupertino under their banner, King Size Productions, with Robert King set to direct the premiere episode. Liz Glotzer also serves as executive producer.

Keller most recently was the female lead opposite Ansel Elgort and Ken Watanabe in two seasons of the HBO Max series Tokyo Vice from Michael Mann and John Lesher. Her breakout role was playing femme fatale Simone Gerhardt in Season 2 of the FX series Fargo, from Noah Hawley. She reunited with Hawley on another of his FX shows, Legion, playing the series regular role of Syd Barrett. Keller also starred in the second season of USA Network’s Dirty John, Netflix’s The Society, and the Netflix film The Shadow of the Moon.

Her film roles also include the Sony feature A Man Called Otto opposite Tom Hanks, the independent film Chestnut opposite Natalie Dyer, and Butcher’s Crossing opposite Nicholas Cage and Fred Hechinger. Keller is repped by UTA and Suskin/Karshan Management.
