February 2026 will see fewer theatrical releases than January, but there are exciting projects among them. Overall, 2025 was a great year for movies, and 2026 already has big titles lined up, though most of them will arrive in mid and late 2026. Still, the first months of 2026 will have a variety of movies hitting theaters.
January 2026 saw the release of the horror movies Primate, 28 Years Later: Bone Temple, and Return to Silent Hill, the thriller Send Help, and the mockumentary The Moment. February 2026 will also have a good dose of horror with a new take on the most famous vampire and the return of Ghostface, drama with a controversial book adaptation, a black comedy starring Alexander Skarsgård, and more.
Dracula
Dracula Will Be Released On February 6, 2026
Dracula (initially known as Dracula: A Love Tale) is a Gothic romantic fantasy movie written and directed by Luc Besson. Based on Bram Stoker’s classic 1897 novel of the same name, Dracula tells the story of the title character (played by Caleb Landry Jones), who was Prince Vladimir of Wallachia before renouncing God and becoming Dracula.
Dracula did this after the death of his wife, Elisabetha, during a battle with the Ottomans, after which he spent hundreds of years tracking down her reincarnation. Four centuries later, Dracula discovers that the fiancée of solicitor Jonathan Harker (Ewens Abid), Mina (Zoë Bleu), is Elisabeta’s reincarnation.
Dracula was released in France in July 2025 and will finally be released in the US and Canada on February 6, 2026.

The Strangers – Chapter 3 is a horror movie directed by Renny Harlin and the fifth installment in The Strangers movie series, as well as the final entry in the franchise’s new trilogy. The Strangers 3 reunites the audience with Maya (Madelaine Petsch), as she does her best to survive one final, but intense showdown with the title masked killers.
This time, Maya wants not only to survive but also to take revenge, but that will also uncover some dark secrets. The Strangers – Chapter 3 had its premiere in Los Angeles in January 2026 and will be ready to hit theaters on February 6, 2026.
Crime 101
Crime 101 Will Be Released On February 13, 2026
Crime 101 is a crime thriller written and directed by Bart Layton and based on Don Winslow’s 2020 novella of the same name. Crime 101 introduces viewers to Mike Davis (Chris Hemsworth), a notorious jewel thief, whose heists along the 101 freeway have perplexed the police.
Davis is planning the ultimate heist, but his plans collide with those of insurance broker Sharon Colvin (Halle Berry). Meanwhile, detective Lou Lubesnick (Mark Ruffalo) believes he has cracked Davis’ pattern and goes after him before his next big heist. Also starring in Crime 101 are Barry Keoghan, Monica Barbaro, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Nick Nolte, and Tate Donovan.

Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die is a sci-fi action comedy movie directed by Gore Verbinski and written by Matthew Robinson. Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die is the story of a man (played by Sam Rockwell) who travels from the future to the past. The man recruits the patrons of a diner in Los Angeles to help combat a rogue artificial intelligence and save the world.
Also starring in Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die are Haley Lu Richardson, Michael Peña, Zazie Beetz, and Juno Temple. Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die premiered at Fantastic Fest in September 2025 and will also screen out of competition at the 76th Berlin International Film Festival.
Wuthering Heights
Wuthering Heights Will Be Released On February 13, 2026
Wuthering Heights is a drama movie written and directed by Emerald Fennell and loosely inspired by Emily Brontë’s 1847 novel of the same name. Wuthering Heights follows Catherine Earnshaw (Margot Robbie), the orphaned Heathcliff (Jacob Elordi), and the intense and destructive romance that develops between them.
Wuthering Heights drew criticism for its casting choices and changes to the novel as seen in the trailers, though it’s labeled as a reimagining of the novel rather than an adaptation of it. That said, Wuthering Heights is scheduled for a February 13, 2026, release.

How To Make A Killing is a black comedy thriller written and directed by John Patton Ford, and loosely inspired by the 1949 British movie Kind Hearts and Coronets. How To Make A Killing centers on Becket Redfellow (Glen Powell), a blue-collar worker who was disowned at birth by his unbelievably wealthy family.
Wanting to reclaim his inheritance, Becket will stop at nothing, no matter how many relatives stand in his way. Also starring in How To Make A Killing are Margaret Qualley, Bill Camp, Topher Grace, Ed Harris, Jessica Henwick, and Zach Woods.
Pillion
Pillion Will Be Released On February 20, 2026
Pillion is a romantic dark comedy drama directed by Harry Lighton and based on Adam Mars-Jones’ 2020 novel Box Hill. Pillion tells the story of Colin (Harry Melling), an introverted gay man who meets Ray (Alexander Skarsgård), a confident bike gang leader. Ray initiates Colin into a submissive relationship, which challenges what Colin knew and leads to personal growth.
Also starring in Pillion are Douglas Hodge, Lesley Sharp, and Jake Shears. Pillion had its world premiere at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, where it got a positive reception with a 7-minute standing ovation.
Scream 7
Scream 7 Will Be Released On February 27, 2026
The Scream movie series continues with Scream 7, directed by franchise creator Kevin Williamson. Set a couple of years after the events of the past movie, Scream 7 reunites viewers with Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell), who has built a new life with her family in Pine Grove, Indiana.
However, Sidney and her family become the targets of a new Ghostface killer, who is mostly interested in her daughter, Tatum (Isabel May). Sidney is forced to confront her past one more time, hoping that this time, she will end the killings for good. Also starring in Scream 7 are Jasmin Savoy Brown, Mason Gooding, Joel McHale, McKenna Grace, and Anna Camp.
