Hoda Kotb’s Daughters Hope and Haley Make Heartwarming Appearance on Last Day
One person who isn't on the top of the list to replace Hoda Kotb on Today? Jenna Bush Hager's daughter Mila Hager.
In fact, Jenna revealed that she hasn't enlisted the help of any family members after Hoda officially signed off from the NBC morning news show for the last time on Jan. 10.
"They're not jumping, but I may push them like I've done my whole life," Jenna exclusively told E! News. "You know who really wants to do it? Mila Hager." (Watch E! News tonight, Jan. 13, at 11 p.m. for more of our exclusive sit-down with Jenna.)
However, after Jenna and husband Henry Hager's 11-year-old got into trouble during her last Today appearance for dropping some embarrassing TMI truth bombs about her mom, Mila might be on a tape delay if she were ever to return to live TV.
"She said something very controversial," the former First Daughter added. "So, therefore, my husband gave her a lifetime ban. We'll see if that's lifted maybe for bring your kids to work day. But she hasn't been always the most supportive, let's just say that."
But while Hoda—who left Today earlier this month after almost 17 years—can never truly be replaced, she's definitely imparted some wisdom onto Jenna just by being her authentic self each and every day.
"This is such good parenting advice: Our kids don't just listen to what we say, we watch them," the 44-year-old shared looking back on co-hosting with Hoda for over a decade. "And I've gotten to watch her. She's the best. She's the most empathetic. She taught me how to really listen, how to be present with our guest. But she also is so fun. Fun is underrated, and I think that's our mantra. We're going to have a lot of fun. And I think people want that."

In the meantime, Jenna is having a blast with part-time replacement Scarlett Johansson, plus other upcoming guest hosts.
"Scarlett Johansson is the best," she gushed. "All of the women that have said yes are like dream guests. So the fact that they're willing to like host, which is work, means so much to me, especially when the world is hard. They're leaving their homes to come to be with us. We do not take that lightly. And we're so excited."
