Timothee Chalamet goes viral for refusing to look at other Victoria's Secret models as he only has eyes for Kylie Jenner

Timothee Chalamet proved his devotion to Kylie Jenner as he ignored the other Victoria's Secret models at the runway show earlier this week.

The 30-year-old multiple-time Oscar nominee has gone viral for an Instagram clip originally posted by @victoriaparis which shows how he conducted himself at The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2026 in Culver City on Sunday.

In it, he could be seen looking down and tapping away on his phone while other models took to the runway.

However, when his 29-year-old girlfriend hit the stage in the $50 million Fantasy Bra, Chalamet clapped and cheered uproariously. 

The clip was re-posted by a Kylie fan page with the caption: 'Timothee Chalamet when other models walk vs. when Kylie Jenner walks.' 

The actor was praised in the comments section as one wrote: 'They are in love and definitely end game!!! [heart eyes, fire, three applause, two hands up, and five red heart emojis]'

'He was fully invested,' another wrote while a different commenter said: 'I love a supportive boyfriend [head shaking vertically and arrow through heart emojis].'

The Hollywood actor, who has been in a relationship with Jenner for three years, was sitting alongside her proud mother Kris Jenner, 70, on the front row. 

Kris had her phone at the ready to capture the moment and her boyfriend Corey Gamble , 45, also turned up to show his support and applauded as she strutted past. 

The moment also went viral on social media with Victoria's Secret harking back to the now famous line when Kris said to Kim during a magazine photoshoot: 'You're doing amazing sweetie.' 

The brand commented on one shared post: 'You’re doing amazing, sweetie! 2026 version.'

Others wrote: 'I like the way he looks at Kylie, and the fact that he isn’t using his phone'; 

'he’s just one of us' and 'only 3 people without a phone.. good thing her bf is one of them';

'I know Kris is proud.' 

However, the decision for Kylie to wear the bra  – which features a $22 million yellow diamond centrepiece and 4,410 other natural diamonds – was met with some backlash from fans due to her being a non-Angel. 

'So they’re just letting anyone wear it?' one commentator asked, while someone else branded the move 'disrespectful.'

'Mind you she never even walked the runway before and she gets the fantasy bra??? lowk [lowkey] tragic,' yet another person wrote.

'Victoria Secret truly out of creativity. Most expensive and yet the most basic. And a kardashian/jenner to cheapen it more.'

'Out of literally anyone ever why the F**K did they put the fantasy bra on Kylie Jenner,' another questioned.

'Over barbara [Palvin], adriana [Lima], and anok [Yai]???' someone else questioned, criticizing the decision to give Jenner the piece over veteran models.

The tradition kicked off in 1996, when Claudia Schiffer debuted the first-ever Fantasy Bra, valued at $1 million, in a Victoria’s Secret advertising campaign.

Past models who have worn the iconic bra include Gisele Bundchen, Heidi Klum, Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Tyra Banks and Candice Swanepoel.

Her show-stopping look was paired with a sheer miniskirt, silver pants, clear heels and angelic white wings.

Kylie also took to her Instagram Stories after the show, showing a close-up of her cleavage in the bra with the caption, 'best day ever'. 

She also shared another snap showing her getting ready for the runway in the brand's signature pink robe. 

Victoria's Secret chief creative officer Adam Selman told Vogue why Jenner was chosen for the special moment after the show aired.

'Kylie really extends beyond fashion, beyond culture, beyond TV, beyond one singular thing,' he told the publication. 'That’s the exact same thing that we do. Like, the show is so big, it’s true entertainment, and I think that she is a great catalyst for that.'

'She’s really created her own culture, which—how many people can say that?' he went on, adding that the 'big idea for the show was fandomonium'.

'I think it’s an interesting pairing that we’re giving the fans: we’re giving them what they want with this amazing Fantasy Bra, and we’re going to put it on an unexpected talent who has a massive following and massive cultural impact.'

'I think it’s fun. I think it’s really joyful, and I think it’s fun to celebrate in a different way that people aren’t going to expect,' he concluded. 

The bra took 15 people more than 1,000 hours to create and it cost a huge $50 million, making it Victoria's Secret's most expensive Fantasy Bra to date. 

Designer Jacob Arabo told Vogue that the bra 'is made entirely of gold and diamonds—there is no fabric'.

'So getting the right fit and making sure it could move naturally with the body was not easy,' he added.
