TikToker Tini Younger Shares Update on Surviving Baby After Death of Twin
Tineke “Tini” Younger is taking it one day at a time.
After the TikTok chef shared that one of her and husband Antoine Wright Jr.’s twin baby girls, Arya, had died in childbirth in November, she shared how her other baby girl, whom she is only referring to publicly as “L,” is giving her strength.
“I have to get up every day for my daughter, for L,” Tini told Tamron Hall on her eponymous talk show March 2. “Sometimes I wish I could just sit in bed and do nothing all day but to take care of my daughter L, I need to get up every day, get ready.”
For Tini, some days that means doing less than others.
“Even if I don’t put on makeup, if I just wash my face, brush my teeth, eat food,” she admitted. “I want to be there for L. I know to better myself, I need to get ready. I can’t just sit down. Like, I’ll change out of my PJs and put on sweats but just do something.”
On top of grieving her daughter—who died after Tini experienced a placenta abruption during labor—the 24-year-old shared that being a new mom is its own challenge.
“Being postpartum in general is already hard enough,” she continued. “I’m just trying to better myself mentally and physically.”
Tini’s latest update comes one month after she made her official return to social media, sharing she’d continue with her standard cooking content that has made her so loved online.
“I want to thank everyone for all the nice comments and messages, I’m very appreciative of that,” Tini said in a Feb. 2 Instagram video. “Things have not been easy, losing one of my twins, being postpartum and also having to take care of my surviving daughter and her being an identical twin as well.”

And while the Next Level Chef alum emphasized her appreciation for all the support and interest in her journey, she reiterated that she will keep her platform centered around cooking.
“I’m not doing mommy content,” she continued. “I’m going to stay to cooking content. The most I’ll do is baby food.”
Of course, like Antoine, Tini also promised her daughter will make some cameos in videos, albeit with her face covered. As she joked, “As you know, babies don’t like to be put down.”
