This Oscars Photo Collection Celebrates the Most Iconic Winners Throughout History — From Faye Dunaway to David Lynch

Ahead of film’s biggest night, Sonic Editions is looking back at some of the biggest Oscar winners throughout history.

The Award Winners photo collection (shoppable as prints on the Sonic Editions website) includes both rare and iconic shots — from Terry O’Neill’s famous photo of Faye Dunaway sitting by the pool at the Beverly Hills Hotel the morning after winning Best Actress in 1977, to a lesser-known shot, taken by Richard McCaffrey, of Francis Ford Coppola, Boz Scaggs, Howard Hesseman, Jerry Garcia and Bill Graham at The Warfield Theatre in 1980.

Other photos in the collection include Audrey Hepburn Holding an Oscar (for “Roman Holiday in 1954), taken by Ralph Morse; Grace Kelly at the Academy Awards, taken by George Silk at the 1955 ceremony; a candid flick of Joanne Woodward and Paul Newman dancing at the 1st Governor’s Ball following her Oscar win for “Three Faces of Eve” in 1958; and an intimate shot of Robert De Niro, Liza MinnellI and Al Pacino schmoozing at a Hollywood fête in 1981.

The new curation also includes rarely seen on-set photos from films such as “Batman Returns,” “Hoffa” and “Finian’s Rainbow,” in addition to portraits of everyone from David Lynch and Leonardo DiCaprio to Sophia Loren and Alfred Hitchcock.

Each of the prints are available in sizes Small (14 x 11 inches) to XXL (37 x 30.5 inches), ranging in price from $99 – $999.
