Sinners actress Wunmi Mosaku exclusively told E! News at the 2026 Actor Awards why her costar Michael B. Jordan is a “kind” and “generous gentleman.”

Wunmi Mosaku knows Michael B. Jordan is a saint.
Indeed, the Sinners actress arrived at the 2026 Actor Awards—hosted by Kristen Bell at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles March 1—and praised her costar for being so sweet.
“He is exactly what you want him to be,” Wunmi told Justin Sylvester on Live From E!: Actor Awards 2026. “He smells good. He talks good. He's kind, he's generous, he's a gentleman.”
In fact, the Black Panther actor confirmed her first impressions with a heartfelt gesture shortly after the pair met.
“He sent me flowers on Mother's Day,” the Lovecraft Country alum continued, “and I only met him like two weeks before. He's so sweet. I actually sent his mom a message saying, ‘You raised a very good man.’”
Of course, Wunmi—nominated at the ceremony for Female Actor in a Supporting Role alongside Teyana Taylor, Ariana Grande, Amy Madigan and Odessa A’zion—isn’t the only one to hold Michael in such high regard. Indeed, his mom Donna Jordan metaphorically gave him his flowers earlier this year.
“Just his commitment and his dedication and his persistence to his craft,” Donna told E! News of what the world should know about her son at the Golden Globes in January, “and the messages that he tries to share with everyone with the choices that he makes and the work that he does.”
She added, “I'm very proud of that.”
Meanwhile, Michael—who is nominated at the Actor Awards for Male Actor in a Leading Role alongside Timothée Chalamet for Marty Supreme, Leonardo DiCaprio for One Battle After Another, Ethan Hawke for Blue Moon, and Jesse Plemons for Bugonia—remained humble by the recognition he has received this awards season.

“Tonight it's just fun to celebrate my other costars and other actors that did tremendous performances this year,” he said at the time, “and just have a good time.”
