The Pussycat Dolls alum Carmit Bachar was blindsided by girl group reuniting for world tour

When The Pussycat Dolls members Kimberly Wyatt, Nicole Scherzinger and Ashley Roberts reunited to release a new single and announce a new world tour, there was one person who would've preferred a heads up.

Carmit Bachar was the longest surviving member of the Grammy-nominated girl group, having originally joined in 1995 when the burlesque troupe was performing weekly gigs at WeHo hotspots The Viper Room and The Roxy Theatre.

'I was not contacted regarding the group's decision to move forward, and I learned of these plans at the same time as the public,' the 51-year-old singer-dancer - who boasts 291,733 social media followers - wrote on Instagram Tuesday.

'Given my history with the brand, having been part of its foundation long before its commercial debut and instrumental in the connections that led to the record deal… I would have appreciated direct communication.'

Bachar went on to call the newly reformed trio's move 'disappointing on a personal level' but she remains 'proud of the role I played in helping shape what The Pussycat Dolls became.'

'My intention in sharing this is not to create division, but to honor the truth and the fans who have supported us throughout the years,' the flame-haired hoofer continued.

'Transparency and respect are values I hold deeply. At this time, I am choosing to focus on my well-being and to move forward with positivity and purpose.'

Bachar had previously left TPD in 2008 when 'the label gave me an ultimatum' between the tour and a project she'd spent years co-creating, and she eventually rejoined the band in 2019 for a comeback which was canceled in 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Bachar - a former competitive rhythmic gymnast - used to serve back-up dancer duties for Beyoncé, Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Jennifer Lopez, Aaliyah, the Black Eyed Peas, Ricky Martin and No Doubt.

The LA native also danced in films like 13 Going on 30, Along Came Polly, Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, The Hot Chick, Good Burger and North.

Meanwhile, the current members donned syncopated white ensembles in Manhattan on Wednesday to promote their new track Club Song featuring Lil Kim and Mya, which dropped last week.

Wyatt, Scherzinger and Roberts - who are reissuing expanded versions of their two albums PCD and Doll Domination - are scheduled to kick off their 53-date PCD Forever Tour on June 5 at Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert, CA.

Many members have come and gone over the decades but there's no doubt that Scherzinger is the lead singer with 'glorified back-up dancers' who took a subordinate role in the past

The Tony-winning thespian's goal for 75 percent of profits and creative control got her into a four-year legal war with TPD founder Robin Antin, which only ended last year

The 64-year-old choreographer appears to be fully on board with the 47-year-old Sunset Boulevard star headlining the new iteration of the group as she was in Manhattan on Wednesday happily promoting the tour in a behind-the-scenes role

Speaking of girl groups, Scherzinger has a mystery acting role in troubled director Rebel Wilson's (L, pictured December 31) upcoming comedy Girl Group also starring Jennifer Coolidge and Randall Park
