Halloween fever has hit Prime Video this past week. Currently, the most-watched show on the platform, both in the U.S. and worldwide, is a new adaptation of Carrie by the one and only Mike Flanagan. The modern master of Stephen King adaptations, Flanagan's latest has been met with positive reviews from both fans and critics, including Collider's Nate Richard, who wrote in his review that "it's definitely worth a watch for those who hold the novel near and dear to their hearts." If you've finished your binge-watch of Carrie and are looking for what to consume next, here's a look at three must-watch shows on Prime Video this weekend.

1 'Hannibal' (2013–2015)

Rotten Tomatoes: 93% | IMDb: 8.5/10

If you've finished watching Carrie and are still in the spooky mood, don't miss one of the very best horror shows of the 21st century, available right now on Prime Video. Hannibal, based on the novels of Thomas Harris, follows the twisting, nuanced relationship between FBI criminal profiler Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) and psychiatrist Dr. Hannibal Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen).

Dancy and Millesen are utterly electric in this genius psychological horror series, originally developed for NBC by Bryan Fuller. Across its 39-episode, three-season run, the show achieved plenty of critical acclaim, earning a Primetime Emmy nomination, as well as the Saturn Award for Best Network Television Series, and Best Actor prizes for Mikkelsen and Dancy. Detailed and devilishly indulgent, don't miss Hannibal this weekend.

2 ‘12 Monkeys’ (2015–2018)

Rotten Tomatoes: 88% | IMDb: 7.7/10

Not to be confused with the 1995 film of the same name, which starred Bruce Willis and was based on Chris Marker's 1962 short film La Jetée, the sci-fi series 12 Monkeys should be right at the top of your watchlist this weekend. The series follows James Cole (Aaron Stanford) and Dr. Cassandra "Cassie" Railly (Amanda Schull) as they come together to defend the world from the threat of the "Army of the 12 Monkeys."

Created by VisionQuest showrunner Terry Matalas and Travis Fickett, this mind-bending series will stretch your imagination as it explores plenty of complex sci-fi concepts, from paradoxes to alternate timelines. Kirk Acevedo, Noah Bean, Barbara Sukowa, Todd Stashwick, and Emily Hampshire (with the latter two also starring in VisionQuest) feature alongside Schull and Stanford in a well-cast ensemble that is able to turn tricky scripts into must-watch TV.

3 'Elle' (2026)

Rotten Tomatoes: 55% | IMDb: 6.9/10

October might be known best as spooky season, but there's something for everyone on Prime Video. If you prefer your TV viewing on the kinder side of life, then Elle is perfect for you. This official prequel to the iconic Legally Blonde, the movie that put Hollywood favorite Reese Witherspoon on the map, was released earlier this year and remains one of the most bingeable Prime Video shows of 2026.

Lexi Minetree takes on the role of Elle Woods, who is navigating life through high school in 1995. With unlikely romance, bold fashion statements, and plenty of drama on the horizon, the moments that make Elle Woods the woman who would go on to make her mark at Harvard Law School are well worth your time this weekend. Eight episodes of Elle are available now.
