The Masked Singer Season 14 Spice Girls Night Features Something The Show Has Never Done Before (SPOILERS)

THIS ARTICLE CONTAINS MAJOR SPOILERS ABOUT THE MASKED SINGER SEASON 14!On February 25, 2026, The Masked Singer season 14 Spice Girls Night will feature something that the show has never done before, as it's welcoming back a former contestant as a guest panelist in the same season in which they competed and were unmasked. The Masked Singer season 14 features host Nick Cannon and panelists Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg, Ken Jeong, and Rita Ora.

Through the years, The Masked Singer has added several different guests to the panel, including Joel McHale, J.B. Smoove, Kenan Thompson, Jamie Foxx, Sharon Osbourne, Niecy Nash, Craig Robinson, Jennifer Nettles, will.i.am, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Miss Piggy, and the late Leslie Jordan, among others. In addition, winners such as T-Pain, Wayne Brady, and LeAnn Rimes have returned as guest panelists, as well as runner-up Donny Osmond. Some guest panelists later appeared on the show as contestants, including Anthony Anderson, Yvette Nicole Brown, and Chrissy Metz.

These Masked Singer guest panelists have not only been incredibly entertaining, but they've offered new perspectives on the mystery celebrities' identities, and helped the regular panelists and viewers to make correct guesses about who they were. Now, The Masked Singer is doing something new and different with its latest guest panelist.

The Masked Singer Is Bringing Back A Contestant As A Guest Panelist In The Same Season

For the first time in Masked Singer history, a contestant is returning as a guest panelist in the same season in which they competed and were unmasked, as Taraji P. Henson will join the panel on Spice Girls Night after she was season 14's Scarab. Although contestants have returned as guest panelists before, they've never done so in the same season in which they competed.

Interestingly, the three contestants who are competing on Spice Girls Night--Pugcasso, Snow Cone, and Crane--all performed on the same episodes as Taraji. This means that she's heard them sing before, which is something that has never happened before on The Masked Singer.

In a Masked Singer season 14 Spice Girls Night preview, (shared by The Singing Crane via YouTube), Taraji said, "I don't like to get voted off," as she made her return to the stage. At another point in the promo, she declared, "I know who that is!," seemingly about Crane. She then joked, "Girl, don't be giving me no attitude," as Crane snapped her fingers. Taraji is so funny, and she'll definitely have the panelists and the audience in stitches.

Taraji's elimination from The Masked Singer season 14 was a shocker because she gave two phenomenal performances during her time on the show. The fan favorite sang a spectacular rendition of "Set Fire to the Rain" by Adele on Premiere Night and a sensational, slowed-down version of "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" by Cyndi Lauper on Clueless Night. However, Taraji left the show on Clueless Night in a double elimination, along with Tone Lōc, who was Handyman.

Taraji was the most decorated contestant in Masked Singer history, with over 35 awards, including a Golden Globe. Her clue packages referenced her extraordinary acting career, including her role as Cookie on the television show, Empire. Only Rita guessed Taraji correctly, while the other panelists' final guesses included Regina King (Robin), Angela Bassett (Jenny), and Cynthia Erivo (Ken).

It's going to be so exciting to have Taraji back on The Masked Singer as a guest panelist for season 14's Spice Girls Night. She's absolutely hilarious, and the clips of her from the episode have already had fans laughing. The panelists had guessed Taraji for many contestants in the past, so it was a joy to see her finally appear on the show. Taraji's return will certainly spice up Spice Girls Night on The Masked Singer.
