Netflix has released the trailer and first look images for its new crime comedy series “Big Mistakes” from creator, showrunner, executive producer and star Dan Levy.

According to the official synopsis, “Big Mistakes” follows “Nicky (Levy) and Morgan (Taylor Ortega), two deeply incapable siblings who are in over their heads when a misguided theft for their dying grandmother accidentally pulls them into the world of organized crime. Blackmailed into increasingly dangerous assignments, they clumsily fail upwards, sinking deeper into chaos they’re ill-equipped to handle.”

Other cast members include Laurie Metcalf, Abby Quinn, Boran Kuzum, Jack Innanen, Elizabeth Perkins, Mark Ivanir, Ilia Volok, Jacob Gutierrez, Joe Barbara and Darren Goldstein.

“I Love L.A.” star Rachel Sennott co-created “Big Mistakes” with Levy and serves as executive producer. Other executive producers include Anne-Marie McGintee for Not a Real Production Company, Dean Holland, Etan Frankel and Timothy Greenberg.

Levy is best known for co-creating and starring on Pop TV’s hit comedy “Schitt’s Creek.” The show won nine Emmys during its six-season run, including a best supporting actor win for Levy. Also starring Eugene Levy, Catherine O’Hara and Annie Murphy, “Schitt’s Creek” followed an exuberantly wealthy family that is left penniless after becoming victim to fraud.

Levy’s most recent TV credits include “Standing By,” “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” “Sex Education,” “The Idol” and “Q-Force.” His recent film credits include “Smurfs,” “Unfrosted,” “Good Grief” and “Haunted Mansion.”

All eight 30-minute episodes of “Big Mistakes” hit Netflix on April 9.
