‘Tell Me Lies’ Star Jackson White Teases “Juicy” Season 2 Finale (Exclusive)

Tell Me Lies has a bright future ahead—and we’re not lying.

In fact, the Hulu show, which is based on the Carola Lovering book of the same name, has been renewed for a third season, per Variety. And while the exact details are still under wraps, showrunner Meaghan Oppenheimer and executive producer Emma Roberts previously shared some of their ideas for the next installment.

When it comes to the structure of the show, Meaghan revealed to Variety in October that there “will probably be a time jump,” transitioning the show out of the college years.

“We’ll get more and more of the future as time goes on. I think by the third season, we will still have some 2008 because there’s stuff that we have to wrap up there,” she added. “But I think it would be a little bit shifted in the sense that there will probably be more 2015 than 2008.”

But while the cast is gearing up to return to the world of toxic romance, Jackson White—who played antagonist Stephen Demarco with Grace Van Patten as protagonist Lucy Albright—was ready for season 3 all along.

"It could happen right now," he joked to E! News in October, referring to the looming potential of a third season. "I'll turn my ringer on. The producer wanted to call."

And now that the show’s return has been confirmed, the 28-year-old can return to where he’s made some of his fondest memories.

"Some of my closest friends I met on this show,” he continued. "It's so fun to make it with them."

But he made more than just friendships. After all, Jackson and Grace are actually dating in real life after sparking up a romance during the series’ audition process. Their offscreen relationship, however, is very different from the tumultuous one depicted onscreen.

"We're so different from these characters,” Grace told E! News in September, “so it's honestly just an opportunity to get all of our bad feelings out so that there's none left by the time we go home."

"He is very good at that part, which is a little concerning," she teased, "but he's just a very good actor."

As we anxiously await the long-awaited return to Baird College, keep reading to see all the shows premiering this year…
