Simone Ashley has finally been asked about the cosy date she was seen on with Joshua Jackson last summer.
The Bridgerton actress, 31, was spotted out with the actor, 47, in New York last August and they looked very comfortable in each other's company.
The pair were spending time together two years after his divorce from Jodie Turner-Smith, with whom he shares his six-year-old daughter Juno.
Now in a new interview, Simone has been asked if she is currently dating, but she remained coy, telling The Sunday Times Style Magazine: 'I'm going to keep that private'.
Last December it was revealed Simone had split from her businessman boyfriend Tim Sykes just months after their romance began.
In the September, The Daily Mail first reported how she was dating the grey-haired hunk after they pair locked lips at the US Open in New York.

Simone will next be seen in The Devil Wears Prada sequel released on May 1 where she plays Amari - Miranda Priestley's (Meryl Streep's) new assistant.
In the interview she revealed what her co-star Anne Hathaway (Andrea Sachs) was really like on set, saying she was 'so welcoming' on her first day and described her as an 'incredibly genuine person'.
She said of being told she had landed the role: 'I was really emotional - I've never reacted that way when getting a role before.'
Simone, who was born in England to Indiana Tamil parents, is also known for starring on another Netflix series, Sex Education.
Her past roles have included supporting parts on Broadchurch and The Sister, but Ashley has lately been establishing herself as an in-demand film star.
After small parts in Detective Pikachu and Disney's live-action remake of The Little Mermaid, she scored a cameo as herself in Brad Pitt's racing drama F1, and was also spotted film an unspecified part in The Devil Wears Prada 2 recently.
Simone, who played Kate Sharma in Bridgerton, has said she will 'clear' her schedule if bosses ever want her to return, as she discussed her loyalty to the period drama.
Speaking to The Louis Theroux podcast recently, she explained: 'I think he set a great example, of I guess for a better word, the loyalty to the show, it is a show about family and returning home and returning to the family and I think a lot of people follow that suit.

'I particularly learned a lot from that example. And now when we go back, there is that environment of coming home and feeling like we're part of a family.'
Joshua was previously married to the actress and model Jodie Turner-Smith from 2019 until late 2023.
The former couple met in October 2018 at Usher's birthday party and are believed to have begun dating shortly afterward.
Their whirlwind romance happened out of the spotlight, as it was revealed in late December 2019 that the lovebirds had already tied the knot.
Then, in January of 2020, it was revealed that they were expecting their first child after Turner-Smith displayed a baby bump in public. On April 21, 2020, their daughter Juno was born.
The couple seemed to have an ideal marriage, and they rarely missed the opportunity to praise each other in interviews in the first years of their marriage.
So it was a shock to fans when Turner-Smith filed for divorce in October of 2023.
