The Boys' Prequel Series Vought Rising Gets Update From Jensen Ackles

Ackles shared a video on his Instagram account, revealing that it was the final day of filming for the series. The clip shows the actor preparing to suit up as Soldier Boy. Additionally, he said that putting on the character's costume is no small task, stating that it typically requires a team of three to five people to help him get fully dressed, giving fans a brief behind-the-scenes glimpse of the production.

The video was accompanied by a caption thanking everyone who worked on the project for all their hard work and dedication. Ackles also said that he had such a great time filming Vought Rising. He jokingly concluded the post by saying that the cast and crew were all "a bunch of psychos," and that he loved them because of it.

The prequel series will reunite Ackles with two of his former Supernatural co-stars. Jared Padalecki (Sam Winchester) and Misha Collins (Castiel). Prime Video has not confirmed which character the actors would be portraying at the time of this article's publication. The duo will also guest star on The Boys season 5, which will release on April 8, 2026.
