More than a decade after handing him her final rose on The Bachelorette, JoJo Fletcher is sharing how she and Jordan Rodgers have been able to stand the test of time.

The couple first met on the top-rated reality show back in 2016 and have since marked multiple milestones together, including the recent arrival of their first child, Romy.

The baby girl was born just two days before Christmas last year and the couple have been in the throes of new parenthood ever since.

But how are they able to keep the spark alive when so many other romances from The Bachelor and The Bachelorette franchises have ended in heartache?

'Picking a partner who really is your best friend [is] at the core,' Fletcher told the Daily Mail in an exclusive interview when asked about their secret to keeping their relationship strong as new parents.

While attraction and chemistry are important factors, Fletcher added that it ultimately boils down to finding 'your safe space' in a special person.

Years after handing out that final rose, JoJo Fletcher is revealing how she and Jordan Rodgers keep their relationship alive

Fletcher spoke with The Daily Mail about her marriage with Jordan and their baby daughter Romy

She advises looking for someone 'solid' who 'gets you, [and] who you can enjoy being with' even while undertaking mundane activities.

Even after 10 years together, Fletcher says she and Rodgers still 'love doing everything together.'

'I think Jordan and I's relationship obviously started in a crazy way, but we've grown so much together through so many different seasons of life, and we still to this day just love doing everything together, silly stuff, like just going to the grocery store,' she explained.

Rodgers, who is the younger brother of NFL star Aaron Rodgers, proposed to Fletcher on the final episode of The Bachelorette, which aired in August 2016.

The couple also embarked on a major home renovation in Puerto Rico after relocating to the island several years ago

They postponed their wedding twice due to the COVID pandemic, before finally tying the knot in Santa Ynez, California, in 2022.

Meanwhile, Fletcher says her love for Rodgers has only deepened since they became parents to Romy.

'We get all these new moments that we get to share together, which really bonds you as well,' she declared,

Romy was born on December 23, 2025, meaning this year marks the first time the couple will be spending a full holiday season with their daughter.

It means it'll be Romy's first Halloween, a holiday Fletcher can't wait to experience with her daughter.

The couple's bond has been deepened by the arrival of their daughter

'This is her first kind of holiday season. She probably won't have a clue what's going on, but at least for me, it's sweet to see her first,' Fletcher explained.

'My neighborhood does a really good job of putting a fun Halloween, you know, decoration. So we'll probably do a little golf cart ride around the neighborhood, see the Halloween decorations.'

'Just seeing her excitement when she sees something cool or interesting,' she added. 'That's honestly what I look forward to.'

The family of three are spending even more quality time together as football season begins – a game that reigns supreme in their household given Rodger's occupation as a college football analyst for ESPN and ABC.

The Bachelorette alum welcomed Romy in December 2025, just days before Christmas

For Fletcher, football Sundays allow her to enjoy quality 'family time' with her newborn and husband.

'We have like three TVs on at once because Jordan needs to know everything about every team, and I have like so many different games going on. So honestly, at this point, I just root for a good game,' she said.

'I don't really care about the team. I grew up being a Dallas Cowboys fan from Texas, so I mean, I have a soft spot for them,' she said.

'But honestly, football Sundays are the day that Jordan needs to come home, and it's like our family time. So I love it being cozy, turning on football, getting comfortable, everyone being together, spending time together, and just rooting for something good to watch.'

Fletcher welcomed Romy last year via an emergency C-section

Meanwhile, Fletcher has partnered with Mucinex to promote their 12HR Cold & Fever Multi-Symptom product – a natural fit given the onset of flu season and the increased likelihood of illness with a young one in the house.

The doting wife told the Daily Mail that she puts the product in her husband's medicine kit when he's traveling for work.

'I'm like, "You are flying every single day this week. You need to be prepared." So the partnership was an easy, you know, organic fit for me,' she said.

The couple announced the arrival of Romy last year, a child they welcomed after Fletcher underwent an emergency C-section.

The pregnancy announcement, which described Romy as their 'rainbow baby', a term used for a child born after a miscarriage, was met with an outpouring of support from Bachelor Nation.

In May, Fletcher celebrated her first-ever Mother's Day as a mom.

'Will never stop being so grateful that I get to be her Mom,' she captioned a video montage of her with Romy. 'Happy Mother’s Day to all my mamas out there. Real life superhero’s.''
