Ellie Goulding debuts new fringe as she makes a stylish appearance in a pinstripe shirt and leather midi skirt at the Boodles jewellery event

Ellie Goulding debuted a new fringe as she made a stylish appearance at the Boodles Old Bond Street Flagship Opening on Thursday.

The singer, 39, looked incredible as she stepped out for the jewellery event in a pink pinstripe shirt and black leather midi skirt.

She added inches to her frame with open-toe heels and accessorised with dazzling jewels from the designer.

Meanwhile Millie Mackintosh made her first public outing with her new man Matthew Tanner since her split from Hugo Taylor.

Bel Powley, Niomi Smart and Wallis Day were also at the event in central London. 

It comes after Ellie enjoyed a romantic trip with boyfriend Beau Minniear at the ultra-exclusive Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc.

Ellie welcomed daughter Iris with the actor, 29, on March 6 at the Lindo Wing in London. The singer is also mother to Arthur, five, from her marriage to Caspar Jopling.

The couple enjoyed a dip in the sea during their romantic break away at the £4,000-a-night French Riviera retreat.

Fitness fan Ellie revealed she was back in the gym three weeks after giving birth when she posted photos of herself doing weighted squats with a caption: 'Back to it all over again'.

The singer was also back to work within weeks, promoting the September release of her new album and performing festival gigs over the summer.

She worked throughout her pregnancy, praising her partner for supporting her as she juggled motherhood and music.

'I didn't want to become just a pregnant woman first,' Ellie told NYLON shortly before she gave birth. 'Not every woman has this luxury. I have amazing people around me.'

'I have an amazing boyfriend. I do have it a little easier in that I do have amazing support. I'm still working every day and still writing every day,' she continued. 'It's just that I am growing a human inside me.

'I'm perhaps not the most, like, Mother Earth about it, if you know what I mean? It's a beautiful thing to be able to grow a child, and I feel very lucky that I'm healthy — but it's not all I am right now.'

Last month, she released I Know Too Much, her sixth studio album, marking her long-awaited return to music.

Comprising ten tracks, the record features Black Prada Dress, which she performed live for the first time at Radio 1's Big Weekend 2026.

The hitmaker previously described the release as a 'divorce album' as she confirmed it would address her split from art dealer Caspar.

She said: 'When I married my ex-husband, I thought it was for life. That will never go away and that will always stay with me. There are some songs that are necessary for me to acknowledge that time in my life and to be respectful of it...

'Then there were some songs that were extremely reactionary and sad that I felt were good to do in the moment but don't serve me long-term.'

'It's probably the most honest song I've written,' Ellie continued. 'It is what it is. I know too much.

'It's tongue in cheek, but it's also some kind of comment on my life so far, and music.'

She continued: 'I always like to write about love and heartbreak.'

Caspar and Ellie finalised their divorce in January 2025 and remain on good terms to co-parent their son.

He has since moved on with actress Olivia Wilde, 42, with the two spotted enjoying a romantic Valentine's Day weekend in Mexico City in February.

Ellie's new album also includes a track dedicated to her romance with Beau.

4 Seasons is about the couple's romantic getaway to a Florence hotel when they first started dating.

She sings: 'Daydreaming, faint feelings, f*** around at the Four Seasons. I think that I might be falling in love with you.'

'Love how you look next to me. Yeah, I swear I'll stay here forever with you. Let's stay up all night. Make it last for a lifetime. I don't usually trust guys like you. But right now, I don't care.'

Last week Ellie was praised for publicly calling out her own fan page for making 'anti LGBTQ+' comments.

The fan site allegedly shared then deleted a message to X about Ellie's fashion and tagged the singer directly, however, Ellie didn't take too kindly to the words.

The now-deleted message, which was shared by another X user, read: 'I’m so glad your recent outfits are so feminine - lace, silk. They really highlight your beauty; I prefer them over those ‘trans’ looks aimed at a specific community, and I think you do too - you’ve been looking lovely lately.'

The Burn hitmaker then responded directly, telling the fan account: 'Girl, no thank you. We don’t tolerate any anti LGBTQ+ in the fandom. I know you are better than this.'

Ellie didn't offer any further comment, however, her retort later trended on X, with fans lauding the star for speaking out against the fan page.
