Teen Mom 2 alum Kailyn Lowry reveals she had breast reduction surgery after welcoming 7 kids

Kailyn Lowry revealed she had gotten a breast reduction just before Christmas Eve, after welcoming seven children.

On Thursday, the 32-year-old Teen Mom 2 alum took to her Instagram Story to share various post-op selfies as she tracked her recovery and asked fans if they wanted further content detailing her operation.

In the now expired snaps, the reality star went barefaced in one image  as she flashed a peace sign with her fingers and wore a post-surgical compression bra with special padding.

'4 days post op,' she penned above the snap. 'Do you want breast reduction videos?'

A fan account by the username of @tm_chatter re-shared another image of Lowry in bed, writing,' out of surgery, lots of videos to come.'

Provided her timeline fits, it appears she had the breast reduction just prior to Christmas and used her holiday downtime to recover from the major surgery. 

The reality TV sensation shares her eldest, son Isaac Elliot Rivera, 14, with her ex JO Rivera. She also shares son Lincoln Marshall Marroquin, 11, with her ex Javi Marroquin. 

Her sons Lux Russell Lowry, seven, and Creed Romello Lowry-Lopez, four, are shared with her ex Chris Lopez. She welcomed Rio Elijah Lowry-Scott, two, as well as One-year-old twins Verse and Valley with her current fiancé Elijah Scott.

Lowry's surgery comes months after revealing she had been told she needed to shed some pounds before being eligible for a breast enhancement earlier this year.

On her Almost Famous podcast in May she said: 'I want to get a boob job, right? I call around. I’m making these consultations to get a boob job. You know what they told me? They told me I need to lose 40 pounds.

'So 40 or 50 pounds, more like 50 but maybe get away with 40 pounds, before they can even operate on me.'

Reflecting on the moment, the former MTV star admitted she was overcome with emotion, 'sobbing' on the phone with a doctor’s office as she considered a 'breast reduction, implants [or] lift.'

'I don’t even know if I can get my double chin done,' she said.

After welcoming her twins in late 2023, Kailyn admitted she wanted to try the popular weight loss drug Ozempic to drop weight quick to return to her pre-baby body. 

'How hard it is to lose weight as an adult, f**k my life. I'm scared,' she admitted on her Baby Mamas No Drama podcast in January 2024.

'I was in the gym five days a week. If you’re going to get plastic surgery you have to maintain it.'

The former reality star did not reveal the exact date she had her breast reduction done.

She also has yet to share further content of the extensive procedure.
