Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Turn Heads in Rare New York City Outing
The weather may be rough, but this love is Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s.
The engaged couple braved the snowy streets of New York City for a rare night out at Chez Margaux on Feb. 24.
For the occasion, Taylor and Travis, both 36, kept close as they left the private members' club holding hands. Of course, the Kansas City Chiefs player—who proposed to the singer in August—stayed true to his gentleman nature by opening the car door for his fiancée.
The two were appropriately bundled up for the date—which took place just days after the city was hit by a record-breaking blizzard—with Travis wearing striped pants, a gray coat and a matching gray beanie, while Taylor went for a black Louis Vuitton coat and leather boots.
The “Opalite” singer paired the outfit with a black leather Louis Vuitton bag with brown monogrammed lining, some silver jewelry and her signature red lip.
Though Taylor and Travis last stepped out for a date night in Los Angeles in January, they have primarily stayed away from the spotlight as of late—but that doesn’t mean they aren’t keeping up with current events.
In fact, the NFL tight end shared that he and Taylor were watching the 2026 Milano Cortina Olympics over the last couple of weeks, particularly to see the Team USA men’s hockey team defeat Canada in the gold medal game Feb. 22—and they’ve “loved every bit” of the action.
“Me and Tay watched the entire game, man," Travis told his brother Jason Kelce during the Feb. 25 episode of their New Heights podcast. “And it's just so f--king epic, man. From the first drop of the puck, man, that game was nonstop action and had me at the edge of my seat.”

It’s no surprise that they would be so invested as Taylor has already made her interest in the Winter Games quite clear. Besides commenting on alpine skier Breezy Johnson’s post after she got engaged to fiancé Connor Watkins, the “Love Story” hitmaker also recorded a special message for Team USA ahead of the Opening Ceremony.
“Getting to learn your stories and see everything that you’ve sacrificed and all your determination and hard work and passion and everything to that’s gotten you to this point where you’re so excellent at something, it’s just really inspiring,” Taylor said in the video shared on Feb. 6. “I am very grateful for everything you’ve done to get to this point in your life and grateful that you’ve brought us all along with you on this journey so we get to watch you do this.”
Aside from watching the Olympics, the couple have been focused on wedding planning, though they’ve stayed relatively tight-lipped about any details. However, one thing the "Fate of Ophelia" singer did share was that it'll be a big party.
As Taylor put it in October during an appearance on The Graham Norton Show, “I’m so excited about it. I know it’s gonna be fun to plan because I think the only stressful weddings are the ones where you have a small amount and people are on the bubble… I’m not gonna do that.”

July 2023: So, Make the Friendship Bracelets
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's love story began in July 2023, when the singer's Eras Tour made a stop at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo.
As a huge Swiftie, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end caught the show with hopes of giving Taylor a friendship bracelet with his number on it. However, he failed to complete the pass due to her pre-show rituals.
"I was disappointed that she doesn't talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings," Travis shared on the July 26 episode of his New Heights podcast. "So, I was a little butt-hurt I didn't get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her."

Summer 2023: This Is Him Trying
After publicly recounting his fumble—a move Taylor would later describe as "metal as hell"—Travis decided to shoot his shot and invite the Grammy winner to watch the Chiefs play at Arrowhead Stadium.
"I threw it out there, I threw the ball in her court," he shared on The Pat McAfee Show. "I told her, you know, 'I've seen you rock the stage in Arrowhead, you might have to come see me rock the stage in Arrowhead and see which one's a little more lit.' So, we'll see what happens in the near future."

Travis was rocking a mustache—which he debuted in August during training camp—when he was first introduced to Taylor.
As he later noted of the era, "That 'stache and the 87 jersey was pretty iconic there for a little bit, and I had it when I met Taylor for the first time."

Accepting Travis' invite, Taylor joined the athlete's mom Donna Kelce at Arrowhead Stadium to watch him and the Chiefs take on the Chicago Bears. After the game, Taylor and Travis were seen packing PDA at a local bar.
Though folklore had it that it was the couple's first in-person meeting, the "Karma" singer later clarified the two had spent a "significant amount of time" getting to know each other beforehand.
As Taylor noted, "We would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date."

During a bye week, Travis traveled down to Argentina to catch the South American leg of Taylor's Eras Tour. Not only did the NFL star bond with Taylor's dad, Scott Swift, at the Nov. 11 show in Buenos Aires, but he also got a special shoutout from the stage.
"Karma is that guy on the Chiefs," Taylor sang, "coming straight home to me."
After the show, the Midnights artist was seen running up to Travis backstage and greeting him with a passionate kiss.
