Taylor Swift Gifted $197 Million in Bonuses to Eras Tour Team
There's nothing she does better than gratitude.
Taylor Swift showed her appreciation for everyone who worked on The Eras Tour in the form of generous bonuses given throughout its nearly two-year run.
In fact, E! News has learned Taylor gave out $197 million in bonuses to those working both behind the scenes as well as onstage with her, including truck drivers, caterers, the merch team, production staff of all levels, carpenters, her dancers and band, security, choreographers, the hair, make-up and wardrobe teams, physical therapists and her video team—among many others.
The bonus amount was confirmed as Taylor wrapped her Eras Tour with her final show in Vancouver, Canada, Dec. 8 after a whopping 149 shows. The "Shake It Off" singer's production company, Taylor Swift Touring, confirmed to The New York Times that she sold over $2 billion in ticket sales over the course of the tour, more than double the gross ticket sales of any other concert tour in history.
In fact, that sales number—which doesn't include merch or money made by the reselling of tickets—means that Taylor gave almost 10% of her ticket sales back to the team behind the tour.
This isn't the first time the 34-year-old has shared the love with her crew throughout the Eras Tour’s tenure. After she wrapped the first North American leg of her tour in August 2023, word got out that Taylor had gifted $55 million in bonuses to those working on the tour with her.
As Taylor noted during her final show at BC Place Stadium, Dec. 8, it took many hands to put on a show of that magnitude.

"We have toured the entire world with this tour, we have had so many adventures," she said to the sold-out crowd. "It has been the most exciting, powerful, electrifying, intense, most challenging thing I’ve ever done in my entire life."
"We’ve got to perform for over 10 million people,” she continued, “and tonight we get to play one last show for you here tonight."
The singer also made a nod to the tour with a telling lyric change during one of her final surprise songs, "Long Live."
While performing the Speak Now album track at her piano, Taylor changed the lyrics from “It was the end of a decade / But the start of an age,” to “It was the end of an era / But the start of an age.”
