Taylor Swift has claimed the top of the charts once again and overtaken an artist's record-breaking streak as number one.
Patient Zero, one of the songs featured on Swift's new album The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore, has debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 100, according to Billboard.
The achievement means the end of Ella Langley's historic Hot 100 streak - her song Choosin' Texas had held onto the number one spot for a record-breaking 24 weeks.
Patient Zero's chart-topping feat marks a feather in Swift's cap.
Swift, 36, now ties with Drake for having 10 songs that have debuted at number one on the Hot 100 chart.
The deluxe version of Swift's 2025 album, The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore was released in late September and has three other songs that have also debuted in the top five of the Hot 100 - Cleveland!, Babylon, and Pink Clouding.

It's been a record-breaking few weeks for Swift.
Last month she received the inaugural Artist Director Honors at the 2026 VMAs - an achievement which breaks her tie with Beyonce, 45, as the most decorated artist of the VMAs.
Prior to the evening, the two artists both had 30 gongs to their name.
'I got to tell you, though, the main reason why I love writing and directing music videos so much is because you, the fans, make it so much fun,' she said during her acceptance speech.
'You make it so rewarding! Because you actually care about what we’re making.'
The MTV VMA Artist Director Honors celebrates a sustained and influential body of work from artists who have pushed creative boundaries and developed a clear directorial voice. Swift has directed 18 of her 60 music videos.
Swift has utilized music videos as an extension of her songwriting as she has directed the visuals for her tracks: The Fate of Ophelia, Opalite, The Man, cardigan, willow, All Too Well: The Short Film, Anti-Hero, Bejeweled, Fortnight (feat. Post Malone), I Can See You (Taylor’s Version) (From The Vault), Karma (feat. Ice Spice) and Lavender Haze.
Swift is also celebrating a personal milestone.
Swift has had a headline-making year, from her VMAs record to her wedding to Travis Kelce
After nearly three years of dating, Swift tied the knot with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce in an epic extravaganza at Madison Square Garden in July.
'The bride and groom's wedding ceremony looks have been created by Christian Dior Haute Couture. They are designed by Jonathan Anderson, Creative Director of Dior Women's, Men's and Haute Couture Collections, in close collaboration with the Bride and Groom,' the bride's publicist, Tree Paine, wrote in her statement.
'This is the designer's first couture wedding dress for a world-renowned celebrity. Their shoes were custom made by Christian Louboutin and the bride wore Cartier jewelry.'
There was no glimpse of a wedding dress, or titbits from speeches, with every guest under the rule of a strict non-disclosure agreement.

Stars including Steven Spielberg, Jay Z, Paul McCartney, Graham Norton and Beyonce flooded MSG in blacked-out SUVs, while NYPD officials, briefed for the occasion, shut down streets in the sweltering heat.
The couple started dating in 2023 before becoming engaged two years later.
'I wanna thank everyone at MSG, we wanted to do it somewhere where we could have an intimate and genuine setting without a lot of distractions,' Kelce recently said of the wedding on his podcast, New Heights. 'We needed to have a private feel, and MSG went above and beyond to give us that.
'I can't thank everybody enough, not just who showed up but helped put that show on.
'[...] It was very cool to see how everyone interacted with no phones, everyone is on guard, it makes everyone be in the moment and present. It was cool to see friends of my childhood and of Taylor's all the way to people we encountered through our careers and became good friends with. We wanted it to be a beautiful ceremony and made sure everyone left there having some fun.'
