Taylor Sheridan fans have a lot to be excited about in the next few years, especially now that the Yellowstone writer is getting back into making movies. Sheridan has a new Sicario-style action thriller titled F.A.S.T. coming to theaters next May after being delayed a few weeks — it was originally scheduled to release in late April. The film stars Brandon Sklenar from 1923 and The Housemaid opposite Sam Claflin and Jason Clarke. Sheridan is also teaming up with director Peter Berg for a new Call of Duty movie in the works at Paramount. The film is currently scheduled to be released on June 30, 2028, but casting and plot details about the movie are being kept under wraps at this time.

Sheridan’s biggest show ever is Yellowstone, but making a strong case for his most popular new series is Landman, the oil drama starring Billy Bob Thornton. The first two seasons of Landman have shattered viewership records on Paramount Plus, and although the show has been renewed for Season 3, it was recently confirmed that it would not return until sometime next year. Production on Season 3 was originally scheduled to begin back in May, but it was delayed several times before cameras just started rolling within the last week. Plot specifics about Landman Season 3 have yet to be revealed to the public, but news broke this afternoon about a few cast members who are officially getting a promotion. Colm Feore (Nate), Mustafa Speaks (Boss), Bobbi Salvor Menuez (Paigyn), and Francesca Zureb (Cheyenne) have all been promoted to series regular status in Season 3 of Taylor Sheridan's Landman.

‘Landman’ Is Also Handing Out Pay Raises

Earlier in the summer, before Landman Season 3 was officially delayed to 2027, it was announced that most returning members of the cast were all receiving pay raises. This includes Ali Larter and Michelle Randolph, as well as Demi Moore and Jacob Lofland. Billy Bob Thornton was not receiving a raise for Landman Season 3, but this is only because he originally locked in a three-season contract to star in the show, meaning he won’t be eligible for a raise until Season 4. The show has not been renewed for Season 4 yet, but if Sheridan and Christian Wallace have an idea, the demand for more episodes is certainly there.
