Tatiana Maslany is wearing a lot of different hats today in the first-look images of Apple TV’s upcoming series, Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed. The Orphan Black and She-Hulk: Attorney at Law alum’s latest project will continue her foray into darker themes following her recent roles in Oz PerkinsThe Monkey and Keeper in the ten-episode series that hails from David J. Rosen (Sugar). Alongside other fan-favorites, like New Girl’s Jake Johnson, Maslany leads the comedic thriller that follows one woman’s attempt to save face while staring down a twisted and complicated conspiracy. Slated for an arrival on the platform on May 20, new episodes of Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed will arrive Wednesdays through July 15.

Her latest role sees the Star Trek: Starfleet Academy actress star as Paula, a woman who currently feels the weight of the world on her shoulders. Not only is she going through the devastation and endless torture of a divorce, but Paula is also fighting for custody rights and attempting to rediscover herself after the gutting loss of her marriage. Just when she thought the universe couldn’t pile more on, Paula believes she witnessed a crime and soon takes it upon herself to crack the case. But the more she gets involved, the more the facts begin to blur with fiction, which in turn launches her into a conspiracy with no clear way out.

Our first look at Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed shows many different sides to Maslany’s character in the upcoming Apple TV production. One depicts her as a caring mother, as Paula can be seen smiling with her daughter on a sunshine-filled day, while another sees her carefully investigating the rooms of her home with a hockey stick in hand. Other images showcase the title’s supporting lineup, which, in addition to Maslany and Johnson, also includes Murray Bartlett (The Last of Us) and Jessy Hodges (Barry).

Who Else Stars in ‘Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed’?

Filling out the rest of the show’s ensemble cast is a call sheet that includes Brandon Flynn (13 Reasons Why), Kiarra Hamagami Goldberg (Charmed), Charlie Hall (The Sex Lives of College Girls), Nola Wallace (The Strangers: Chapter 2), and Dolly De Leon (Nine Perfect Strangers). In addition to creating and showrunning the project, Rosen also penned the series and joins its director, David Gordon Green (Mythic Quest), as an executive producer.
