It has been nearly four years since She-Hulk joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe in her own TV show, as Jennifer Walters became one of the many new heroes to appear in The Multiverse Saga. With only a few upcoming Marvel movies in Phase 6, the Marvel heroine has yet to appear on the big screen.

In a new interview with Entertainment Tonight, Tatiana Maslany was asked if it was true that she had passed on the opportunity to return as She-Hulk in Avengers: Doomsday. However, the MCU star played coy, saying, “You’ll never know. I don’t know. Do you know?”

Her latest response about Avengers: Doomsday comes shortly after comments she made on the Comedy Bang! Bang! podcast, where she poked fun at the rumors that she had declined Disney's offer to appear as She-Hulk in Deadpool & Wolverine. She stated, "Nope. Disney has approached me to play She-Hulk again. Guys, I said no. Because I just did. This is the facts."

She continued making fun of the inaccurate reports, sharing how "They’re out there. You can read the articles about it. I was really mad at them for kicking me out of [Deadpool & Wolverine]. I was just mad. I’m woke. It’s woke feminist stuff. I was like, ‘How dare you cast a woman in this role?" Maslany concluded the mockery by saying, "That’s disgusting. I’m embarrassed to even be here.’ They really wanted me to be in Doomsday, Avengers-style, or whatever. I turned them down. I’m confirming it here."

The Avengers: Doomsday cast will do additional photography this spring before the Russo brothers and the stars reunite in Avengers: Secret Wars, which will start rolling the cameras this summer. As of right now, Marvel Studios hasn't confirmed whether She-Hulk is in the Phase 6 finale.

Marvel Studios' Avengers: Doomsday opens on December 18.
